CRYSTAL CLUB, CANTERLOT
THE PREVIOUS NIGHT
The Crystal Club a night club in Canterlot that attracts a lot of questionable people especially those who do business with it. Seated at his desk dressed in a black business suit was the club's owner an intimidating man who went by Sombra Umbra or his nickname 'King Sombra'. Sombra had dealings in the night underbelly of the city. He had dealings with weapons and drug dealings plus protection ' but had connections to make sure there were fall guys to go down in case the police were onto him. He made careful sure that nothing could be traced back to him. It was a business inherited from his mother Rabia who helped mentor him and he came from a clan of organised crime leaders.
He suddenly heard shouting and gunshots and sighed, "You two go and take care of it." He said facing two of his bodyguards and they nodded leaving while drawing their weapons. He tapped the desk only to hear screams of terror and more gunshots, what was weird was that he recognised the screams coming from his men.
He looked worried but shrugged it off and quickly ordered the rest of the men to go and take care of it and they quickly hurried it out. Soon there were more screams and he decided to wait, five minutes later he got tired and got up to see what this was about taking his great uncle's Tommy gun. "What is going on.." Sombra said going to the lobby of his club only to see the guests have all evacuated and only his men and some of his partners were there.
Only they seemed to be taken care of themselves and Sombra felt physically ill at the sight and saw one of his men who was still alive. "Alright who dared to mess with me, who was it?" Sombra demanded as the man gasped for air.
"...one man..." the man told him and Sombra dropped him suddenly, he must have heard him wrong. No one man could do all this...
"One batch..."
He looked around when he heard the whisper but no one alive seemed to be around.
"Two batch..."
"Who is there?" Sombra asked panicked grabbing his Tommy gun and looking around.
Then suddenly a man walked out from the shadows.
"Penny and dime..."
