Also, it felt like a really good place to actually sneak in a description of Lindsay because the Prologue didn't have it. And there are several parts of this that made me laugh too, especially during his dinner with Peace Lily.

Great dark and gory, I'm not usually up for that, but in this case it was needed it, all the love was starting to get a bit diabetic and his grumpiness was starting to get a bit annoying.

Maybe this could show some little transformation. Also something tells me he is going to reject the offer Luna is going to make him, he is doing this to basically retired, of course he is not going to escape all that just to be drag back in.

So. Ended up marathoning Breaking Bad with friends until somewhat recently. And that's affected me several ways.

A) I was drained by the time we finished, each time. So I couldn't write properly.
B) When I was able to write, it ended up being far too dark. Like. I'm going for dark and dark is good, but not quite yet or to that intensity.

So, I'm working on it, slowly but surely. I keep going back and making sure I'm not writing Heisenberg instead of Samael.

I believe the reason he escaped Earth was due to too many bad people after him, not to mention being very much on wrong side of the law. He was escaping his life an as assassin, a hired killer who couldn't afford friends. Equestria seems to offer not only being on the lawful side but gain true friends, if he can remember how. Right now, I'd think he could get an easy job as an advisor and trainer. Later on he might go full-on Punisher and start getting personal with the naughty gryphons. This is assuming he doesn't accept some rank in the Equestrian forces and... end up in the military as his dad wanted him to. If he does, I would almost expect him to push for a black ops type of contract; just give him a target, resources, and don't ask questions.
