A virtual reality RPG adventure and our protagonist, Mantis, is a political prisoner/student. This story seems interesting. Still, I have a question. Why did Rarity glared/forced AJ into joining the game? You have a fav and a like.

So we now have a new story to join with your others(I'm starting to see a pattern with your stories). Not much to give a review, just to point out a few things.
You didn't mentioned he had an eye patch earlier, and if he's using a illusion spell why have one in the first place?
This one does intrigues me, especially how your describing this world with how much the relationship between Humans and Changelings are the same as it was years ago during the times of desegregation between the whites and blacks.
An interesting idea. Loving the start so far. It's like two stories in one, you have the RPG element and the real world affairs. Looking forward for more.

I hear good things about Log Horizon,(way better than SOA), So in this world there is war between Changelings and.....humans(?) So what do Changelings in this world look like?
6918075 Their skin it pitch black, spliced eyes and have a slight point to their ears and have larger canines. Not the same size as a Vampire's but just slightly larger than a normal person's. Their blood is not red and much of their culture is different than Equestria. I suppose one way of comparing is in the Dragon Age series, think of them as the Elves and Equestria the humans. They are treated as second class citizens. The war itself is for the most part put on hold until they find Chrysalis.
So let me get this straight.... Everyone exept Applejack decided to be indecisive? Okay then.
Idea for story:Have a new VRMMORPG get released Have al the characters log on to play it and have it turn out to be a plot by Chrysalis(I sort of skimmed the story so if Chrysais is dead then have it be random dude) to trap them all in the game and the only way out is to beat the game and clear all 100 floors and if you die in game you die IRL and if someone tries to forcefully remove your helmet you die.(Only someone who reads manga and/or watches Anime will know exactly what I'm taking about

Wait. He's essentially a spirit shaman in real life but a Necromancer in the game? Little bit confusing. Then again in most RPG's I am a Warlock and I most certainly don't summon demons in real life.

While this story is similar to Starswirl University, its still it own thing. Just try to avoid repeating thing you did in that story and putting it in here. Probably your next story that will be similar to these, You'll probably have Starlight replace Sunset who replaced Trixie. I expect plenty of Yu-Gi-Oh references in this story.(and I mean G1 yugioh, not those spinoff with more complicated rules.)

You put a combination of references to fairy tail, sword art online, and other mainstream anime into the character designs. I like the way this is going, especially with the new changeling added to the plot.
