This site definitely needs more stories like this. I remember reading a story similar to this a couple of years ago I think it was called the Emperor's Child in Equestria. I tried to find it recently and it turns out the author just up and deleted the whole thing which is a crying shame because it was a pretty good story.
Sonic waves musical style strikes me as a combination of Electro and heavy metal. something like this.

Aw ruined, I was so excited to see some Noise marine on pony romance. Insted this story loses all of it ties to Warhammer. He no longer has his armor so it's safe to assume that his weapon is no longer a weapon and is just an instrument. This story has become a general Vynil x OC story.
The main six (apart from Pinkie) are no where near good enough friends to demands details and interrogate Vynil about her colt friend. Sure there friends but there they kind of friends that would be surprised about the relationship then move on without a second thought. The only reason they acted like that was so our apparently pussy (Noise Marine Ah i'm sorry this is no longer a Warhammer fic) MC to be somehow nervous in-front of Twilight and friends. This guy should give little to no fucks at all he was a battle hardened Noise Marine. Even if he didn't kill he's been in enough danger to no longer care about simple little ponies. It annoys me when people write apparent Warhammer fics with pussy / out of character Marines.

Ooooooh you have no idea what I have in store :3 plus, as for the “worried” he was thinking about Vinyl in that situation, along with “keeping his cover”. Granted, he IS a battle hardened warrior, but even they get nervous when things are about to blow up in their faces. Its been shown in quite a few stories, such as the Iron Warriors Omnibus, where Honsou actually lost his cool a few times with panic.
Again, there is much more in future chapters, once I am able to get time to work on them. Even in the last chapter updated, you’ll see his “instrument” isn’t what it seems to be. Never doubt the skills of a Noise Marine.
