At least, that's what Pinkie Pie says, and who is Rainbow Dash to argue with that logic? If you love your friends, you should go out of your way to make sure that their gifts are super special.
But when Rainbow starts feeling like her gift to Rarity might not be as perfect as she thought it was, she begins to worry that Rarity might get the wrong idea. Twilight's Hearth's Warming Eve party is tonight, so she'd better hurry and find something special!

I think this is a great start. I'm not a fan of the ship so I admit to coming into this with bias but I'm giving it a fair shot. Also I must say it's just a pleasure to be reading your writing again. You have a way of describing the character's actions that just makes me smile every time.

A well written scene that would have otherwise been an excellent TwiDash introductory moment in an otherwise TwiDash fic. However, I know this isn't TwiDash, so you just played with my emotions for nothing.
Thinking back on it, I should have realized it was going to be a dress. You certainly laid enough clues for me to follow but I was completely surprised all the same. Looking forward to where this goes.

It's well written, but I'm sorry, Blundy. I just don't ship RariDash. I don't see it. That ending felt contrived to me because of it, but only because I don't see the characters together in my head. Other than that though, the pacing was fine and it was pleasant to read. I noticed lots of little technical errors in this last chapter, but it's all stuff that a good editor will fix.
