As an official delegate for the wealthy nation of Saddle Arabia, Amira had it all until she discovered a natural talent for an unusual kind of magic. Branded as a witch, she's a fugitive on the run. She fled to Equestria to find Princess Twilight Sparkle, but with pursuers on her tail and uncontrollable magic welling up within her, will Amira get to Twilight in time?

Much more detailed and exciting for sure. I hope to see how this goes and I can't wait for the edits to catch up with the story.

You bastard! You blew it up!:flutterrage::twilightangry2:

Oh well, on to read the new version.

Okay, I'm sure the new version is better and everything. But I liked the old version already (else I wouldn't have faved it), and I don't really feel all that compelled to read the same story again. It would be great if you could give readers like me an update with what has changed once you get to the old point of progress (chaptername blabla OLD PEOPLE LOOK HERE). If not, I will keep this faved for a little, but I doubt I'll find the time again.

More detailed, for sure. Let's see how this goes.

I'm just glad they didn't meet a cockatrice. That would be nasty.

I can do that, but more than just plot points will be changing. Watching characters grow and improve would be better than just being told that they did.

In any case I WILL be making a big post when the re-work has caught up to where the story was before, so I hope you tune in then

Still some word choice glitches here and there (harsh winds frequented the woods? How about blasted, or scoured, or swept? I don't think they're dropping in for a regular friendly visit), but it looks better already.

I don't think we see nearly enough about the Saddle Arabians. I never saw the original story this apparently springs from, so this will be an entirely new experience.

I was so happy to see a new chapter!.... oh, I guess this is good too... :pinkiecrazy:

Yikes, unexpected chapter erease. Oh well, I shall play the waiting game.

Interesting idea, hope to see more:twilightsmile:

Was reading this fic before you decided to rewrite it so well I know Amira has little to worry about from the ponies, I am curious what additional details you might add once we get to the point of Twilight "nerding out" at the chance to study Saddle Arabian Magic, and if perhaps you'll chose to show us her reaction to the idea that Saddle Arabia executes magic users, as magic is Twilight's thing I doubt such and idea would be something she wouldn't have a LOT to say about.

Still say screw the toy name. It's too ridiculous. I'll take Rainbow Castle.

Very cool update. Looking forward to more.

Much better rework of that magic surge scene. Now for me to go review Amira's lines to see if her tone feels more foreign and high-birth or not.

Surprised it took so long for this to come out.

this new version does seem improved, flows better I think.
I am a little anxious for what happens when the revised parts are done and up, though.

Good job regardless.

New chapter hype for more

Sorry about that. See my blog for the reason.

yay she can shout. ^_^ and quite better than the dragonborn i might say. :P great story keep up the good work. ^_^

Took long enough for me to read this, but I really liked this! The emotions were very well written, and the humor of the zebras being The Last Airbender was not lost on me.

Thank you. I feel like I'm improving, especially regarding emotions :)

This is a great story is there going to be more?

It's to good to stop

Yes, someday there will be more, I promise (I already have several more chapters written and just needing editing and a little rewrite). Sadly, life stole all my free time lately.

Are you going to kill him or let him be rescued?
