Yes, it's is obvious that you have gone with an alteration of the Unlimited Blade Works route.
Have you read the original visual novel, or is this based on the animated movie adaptation? I'd highly recommend basing it off the visual novel rather than any adaptation, especially any adaptation produced by Studio DEEN. The remake by UFO Table are good, but I still recommend the original visual novel.

Ha! As if I'd use Studio Deen. As much as I love it, as it was my first step into the Fate series, UFO Table is great. But to answer your question, I'm going for the visual novel. To me, the novel just feels much more wholesome than what the movie gave.
I was half-tempted to use Heavens Feel Shirou, but I figured it would have been a bit more difficult to get his appearance down in a believable fashion. At least with UBW, I get Shirou's reality marble to play with, along with his now vast expanse of weapons to use. While it would have been nice to have a chance to use Nine Lives Blade Works, I would rather have a believable beginning.
Now then, when I have the next chapter ready, I'll contact you and ask you to go over it. Would that work out?

Actualy, Shirou from UBW can also use Nine Lives Blade Works, since every sword Shirou even glances at is imedialty recorded on his Reality Marble, and I'm pretty sure that he got a eyefull of that sword, thus, Nine Lives Blade Works can be used
Glad to see you're getting an editor... because this kinda needs it. I mean, content-wise, I enjoyed it, but there were really too many typos/assorted errors.
I would also suggest reading your dialogue out loud to yourself-- some of the lines just seemed... sorta stilted? I'm not sure, it wasn't a big thing, they just didn't feel phrased quite naturally. Could just be me being nitpicky.

Ppl bash Studio Deen's FSN, but I actually still prefer it over Fate Zero and the current Fate UBW.
Don't get me wrong, UFOTable's art and animation are absolutely gorgeous. But that just makes it great anime. AFAIC, Fate branch is great literature which transcends anime. For example, with some mild effort at localization I believe a live-action Fate branch TV series or HBO mini-series would be very well accepted in the USA. I can't say that for UBW or HF branches.
And less animation budget aside, I actually feel Studio Deen's characters felt more human to me. I'm not getting much "feels" from either FZ or UBW series, other than "Wow the animation and action is awesome."
