The wasteland isn't fucked up enough!?"
For some reason, I'm reminded of the time when Calamity shot a raider colt who was brutally raping a captive. Littlepip and Velvet Remedy were horrified that he shot a kid, and Calamity just said "He was a raider."

Ah, the world of Fallout Equestria, where taking a ton of drugs actually has consequences.
Unlike in the actual games, where if you can actually find the cave fungus to make it, Hydra is a free, weightless constant Doctor's Bag for the next minute or so, and goes perfectly well with a hideous cocktail of Med-X, Slasher, Psycho, Rocket, and Cateye. God, I love Cateye.
I also like Rampage. Despite the fact that as a concept she is ridiculously overpowered, you somehow managed to make her work. Well done.

Getting close to the end of book one and HMM.

So on top of the budding alcoholism (which I heartily approve of), she's getting addicted to every drug known to ponykind. <.< You're explicitly trying to outdo the original, aren't you?

It's occurring to me how overpowered the characters are. Glory was able to do risky surgery after only seeing it performed once. P-21 seems to know a lot about a lot of things despite having been breeding cattle his whole life. Blackjack was hit with numerous shotgun rounds and wasn't hurt; she was pierced by a beam weapon and lived. These things should be bothering me, but they're not, at least not much, which makes me wonder. The one thing I'm concerned about is escalation; you've ramped the threats up pretty heavily in just 14 chapters, so things are likely going to get ridiculous in short order, unless you find a way to send her back to square one. That was something in the original I didn't much like.

This honestly reads a lot like what my FO3 playthrough felt like after I'd leveled up; the abilities at the end of each chapter seem accurate to real game progression.

Whenever I heard wings were popping out her back, and she had a horn, I immediately thought she was an alicorn in disguise, and the Goddess had taken an interest in her.

Blackjack and Morning Glory carry on, with their own inner-strength. Who was the flying one with skeletal wings, Ditzy Doo? Stable 90 was such an unfinished mess. Also possible reference with the talking toys joke, compared to puppets and going insane in another vault. Blackjack, you should not take a combination of drugs with guaranteed side effects. Honestly, I didn't even know Hydra had such a nasty possible side effect until I read this chapter. Also her Fixer addiction here with it. Took ya long enough for introduction, Rampage. Just in the nick of time.

nah, i actually payed attention in D.A.R.E. first time, last time, i avoided chems like the plague. i may have used jet a couple times but not enough to do what's happening to Blackjack or Littlepip. anyone else wish they could show up in Equestria so they can salute Rainy Days for the great hero her daughter would become?

Day 2: Things are getting ugly down there. Folks are screaming for my head. Anypony that had food and water has probably had it taken from them. There’s been fights over bottles of Sunrise Sarsaparilla and Sparkle-Cola. Goddesses, if they knew I’d brought a twelve pack with me and some snacks... I guess the radiation shielding is working because nopony has died… yet.

See this is what I mean, I like the story but then theres this weird inconsistencies. If the bombs have just dropped. Why is there already a "goddesses" religion. That's a really fast growing religion.

Also the Rampage chick, I find badass is hard to pull when your wearing plot armor. She got shot with every gun there I'm assuming even the energy gun. How come nothing got through? It's like the weird inconsistency of Blackjacks armor of either taking energy shots or not. Idk, that breaks the immersion when I'm really getting into the story x.x

I actually never got into most temporary boosters myself for any of the fallout games. Except sometimes magazines in New Vegas. The fact that the temporary boost would give me a much longer-lasting debuff afterwards sorta rid the point.

Actually I take that back. Sometimes if I was over my carry weight I'd use a STR-boosting drink or chem if I'd picked one up. Just to get back to a settlement where I could offload.

Besides magazines for skill checks, the only temporary boosts I used was Jet in Fallout 4 because of the slow time effect, and Buff-Jet for my melee build, it would really come in handy, especially with the right perks to make it last longer

Glory is a smart cookies, but she’s also naïve and bit unworldly due to her having a rather sheltered upbringing as daughter of a high-ranking Enclave member. Blackjack is also pretty smart, coming up with pretty good battle strategies on the fly, but is suffering from constant self-loathing, having convinced herself that she’s a moron.

“I did something terrible back in Stable 99. I didn’t… I didn’t know it was bad then. I barely remembered even doing it until now. But…”

And at the moment you realized if was bad, you immediately wanted to make amends. Not to mention all the time you go out of your way to help ponies. Like when you liberated the mine slaves.

Stable-Tec isn’t Vault-Tec. Their experiments weren’t supposed to screw-over or hurt Ponies. So something else must’ve been gone terribly wrong.

There was the noise of me greeting Daisy and receiving a slew of profanity in return. Then the noise of our voices retreating as we commiserated on ‘fucking males’.
“Yeah… it is…”

So did P-21 record all these, because he wanted to remember everything bad thing Stable 99 had ever done to him? To what purpose? To keep his hatred fueled?

Although I can see why he had so conflicted feelings about Blackjack, not being sure whether or not he should shoot her. She did rape him like every other mare but she also helped him get away from Daisy.

As I listened to the last chords of the piano, my body slowly crumpled beneath me and slammed into the dirt. Foam coated my lips as I gasped for air, my heart no longer individual beats but now almost a constant purr. Blood poured from my mouth and my eyes as I lay there choking, looking up at the gunners as they slowly moved in to finish me off.

Well in the end, the drugs were too much for her body to handle. No surprise. As I said before, it’s painful to watch Blackjack injecting herself with drugs like they are peppermint drops. On top of the dehydration, lack of food and her state of mind it’s a wonder she was able to go on for so long.

“Mmhh how many Zebra tribes do I need for Homelands? I know! How about 13 and making the 13^th one the Cursed One? Now I just have to write at least one chapter for each tribe to flesh them out. How hard can that be?”

“On second thought, I also need some Legion. How about making one for each tribes? Now I just need to introduce each one of them during my already long story. How hard can that be?”

Instead, the polished steel plate formed a shining armor that covered not just her torso but the exterior of all her limbs, chest, and belly. Along her back rose a ridge of blades that slowly scissored with each step she took. The helmet that covered her face was topped with a wide, horn-like blade. Each hoof ended in curving metal claws attached to her horseshoes, and something woven into her red, braided tail gleamed. A number of blades were strapped to the outside of her armor.

And Rampage has arrived! It’s going to be refreshing having a character who’s just an unapologetic killer for once.

So he send Rampage to protect Blackjack from another Reaper. Who just happens to be the Number 2? Something tells me he wants to get rid of Deus. Maybe he's afraid that Deus is planning to replace him?

*I’ve added three more Pegasi from the last chapter, because during one of PTSD moments Blackjack mentioned that she was coated head to hoof in the blood and gore of three ponies, implying she killed three people in the last chapte'rs rampage. Also in the battle with the Pecos it was hard to figure out how many she actually killed. She shoot at least one with her rifle near the end of the battle, so that’s the only one I added to the count. All in all the body count isn’t going to be 100% accurate, but I can live with that.

Well this chapter was just horrible. And I don’t mean the writing or the story itself. It’s just one big chapter of misery and bad stuff. It’s not the first time bad stuff happened in a Chapter, but usually it was either at the end or the beginning and then there would be some lighthearted moments in-between them. No this time however.

Blackjack is miserable. Glory is miserable. Blackjack is drugging herself to keep herself together and almost died because of it. And as a cherry on the top there’s a Stable full of death Ponies who ate each other in a desperate attempt to delay the inevitable.

Yep, I’ve been warned. Project Horizons is pretty dark. That said I’m not turned off yet. So let’s see what happens next. Only one thing is for sure: The worst is yet to come.
