The concept is nice.
The execution is bland and boring. The story lacks descriptions to paint a visual picture, leading to an off-speed pacing. We get almost no insight on the protagonist's thoughts on being suddenly thrust into a new world, or about his form being changed into an Espurr. You've got an interesting concept here, but poor execution.
