You don't read enough clop, then. There are a number of stories that are far better than what I've written, especially if you're looking for more romantic stuff. Xenophilia is probably the best example. It was literally too good for me to get off to.
4734160 I don't generally read clop at all, at least not clop for clop's sake. It gets repetitive after awhile, same as real porn. There are, after all, only so many ways to fulfill a biological function.
I've read Xenophilia. While the sex and romance didn't really do much for me, I quite enjoyed the world in which it took place. That's why the ending chapped my ass so completely: all those unanswered questions.

Also, have you read Side Stories or Further Tales at all for Xenophilia? They both do a lot of world-based explanation, as well as Xenophile's Guide to Equestria. If you haven't read them already, you might want to.
