I truly wish I could think of something appropriate and comforting to say. I am so very sorry.

You don't have to.

I'm sorry for your loss. Did you know know her or was she a FIM friend. If she was a true friend I am so sorry

We had been friends since the sixth grade.

Please feel better soon, Flea.

I'm so sorry for your loss.:fluttercry:
I hope that writing such a sad story helped get some of the hurt out of your system.

Condolences for your loss, my friend. Losing a loved one is never easy. Best of luck to you and anyone else affected by these events. :fluttercry:

Oh my dayum. The story itself carried a bit of weight, but the circumstances surrounding its existence...
You don't see that very often. I offer free *internet hugs* to you, my friend.

Condolences to you and your friend's family...

This was short, but I loved it. It was sweet and sad. I loved every word of this and you just pieced the whole story together so well. Like I said, it was short but sweet </3

*sigh* Words cannot express my sadness right now, for your friend and for Sweetie Belle. I leave you with this:
fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/247/0/8/cm__sad_sweetie_bell_by_leximoon-d6l1blr.png

The story was masterfully crafted. As someone who enjoys the short, simple things, this was a very powerful fic. I enjoyed it very much.

As for the circumstance around it, I am blissfully ignorant of your pain, sadly, and I cannot begin to express my condolences for you. I can't imagine the gripping sorrow that must have taken hold of you, and for that I also apologize. It must seem empty, for when people attempt to give you sympathies without them ever knowing what it could possibly be like. I lost someone once too, but I did not know them in the way in which it was able to sting me, so I must take a stab in the dark and imagine the emotional duress from that event is tenfold for yours.

I knew her once, but as a storywriter, and as an entity of this site, and not in any way that you did, as you have known her as a dear friend for years. And for that, it must seem insulting as I attempt to say I knew her in any form, so for that I must apologize.

If this comment offends you or rubs you the wrong way, I will remove it.

I am sorry.

That was beautiful.

Oh my God, the feels. I feel your loss, man. I too lost someone dear to me, although not under the same circumstances. I'm sorry that I did not know your friend, although I'm sure she was wonderful and a true gift to this site and the world in general. Feel better, bro.

All I can offer to you is this.

Your work is brilliant, and though I can not say I have felt your pain, i send .

I understand why this story was written, and I'm sorry for your loss, but I don't understand the story.
Has Rarity passed on, and telling Sweetie Belle that she regretted no being friends when they were younger.
Or am I just wrong.

Very well done. Although, how Rarity was going to pass on could have been explained at bit more. I understand that stories like this, written in a white heat of catharsis, can be so personal, so close to the heart. Therefor, that niggling detail can be put aside. That aside, it was written with heart and soul, just as any kind of story should be written. I hope you are able to write more. I also hope that writing this story helped your heart heal.
Writing can save your life, sometimes.

A lot of people have commented on how they felt, or how they hope that you feel. I'd like to know if you're okay. How are you taking it? Do you have somebody to help you through it? A family member? A close friend?

Despair is a thing I've know from time to time. I can't speak as somebody who could possibly be there for you, considering I've never met you and don't know you. But I can speak as somebody who's known a lot of different kinds of suffering in life, and I can say that having somebody to understand you always helps. Times of grief are harsh, and I've been blessed to know extraordinary people who have given and shown a lot of strength in their life. You'd be surprised, but sometimes it's the people you least expect who have the most to offer in times like this.

The other suggestion I can give from my own experience is the little things. Focus on the little bits of good around this one, big, awful moment. When a sudden loss like this hits, I find that sometimes it's the only thing you can do.

3542524 I don't think there is something comforting to say. All I can think to do is offer help and advice, and maybe hollow, at that. It feels a bit sickening to be doing not much different from when I'd review any other story.

3544548 I wish I could speak for her and say your thoughts counted. But I think they struck a chord with a lot of others, and they certainly seem to me like they're in the right place. They moved me, and hopefully they'll reach her.

3550584 Yeah, I hope so too.

3550707

They have. Thank you.

3550851 I'm glad. As empty as it may be, I hope that one day you'll be feeling better.

Goddamn... This was... I'm sorry. I know those feels, and this reads scarily like something I'd write to my kid brother someday.
I hope you can find peace from all this soon.

Great story. Short, sweet, good.

Silver out!

Thank you for correct use of tags for a change.

This was interesting to read. Interesting worldbuilding and character exploration done in a compact way.

I'm sorry you experienced such a real tragedy in your life to inspire this story.
This story is well written, and moving, thank you.

Simply,
Rarity

:raritycry:

Still a very emotional, raw read. I hope you're happy and safe out there in the world, Catherine.

*inhales deeply

This is a incredibly sad story seeing as it is based on something some have experienced yet many wish to never experience the pain and suffering of those who have lost someone dear to them.:ajsleepy:

*lone tear falls down cheek
