Daisy Daedal's life in San Franciscolt was peaceful but dull until one Summer Sun Celebration when the Sun didn't rise. It may have pushed her out of her comfort zone, but as Equestria changes around her she finds new inspiration in unexpected places. But who could believe what happens is real?

Twilight's life has changed a bit over the years. She used to worry about it, but more often these days, she finds herself celebrating it.

The story was written for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereigns contest for the Twilight portion of the Partiers group but didn't finish in the contest's Top Six. Happy squeaks of thanks to The Masked Ferret for spontaneously volunteering to edit and to Miss Cats for the cover image.

Who knew Princess Celestia had formal control over all aspects of language in Equestria? Who knew she would randomly ban a critical punctuation mark? Twilight Sparkle sure didn't. Now with Equestria as she knew it collapsing around her without the almighty comma she must try to convince the Princess to restore sanity to the written word.

Well, true, she was best friends with an arguable deity, and yeah her little sister controlled part of fate subconsciously, and her social circle involved a crazy crew of characters that regularly got involved in wacky shenanigans, and she herself had helped to save the world a few times, and there was the possibility her principal was using the school to scout for super heroes, and technically she had acquired a skin condition that she had yet to see replicated by anybody else...

...but the point was, by most standards, she was an ordinary farmer. Not the kind of girl that went on adventures.

And then she developed a unique form of magic, just in time for the giant bug invasion.

Fluttershy believes that her neighbor, living in the Clock Tower is evil, Kidnapping fillies and torturing them. Not just her but it's been a rumor all over ponyville. As it is they just brush it off because fillies have yet to disappear. Till one storming night Flutters hears a loud young scream coming from the Clock tower, filled with fear she runs to her friend Twilight. Twilight thinks it nothing, but when confounded, Dr. Gear acts suspicious. Will they find out what’s going on behind those doors or will they end up 10 feet below.

When the island first appeared on the radar of Equestria, Princess Celestia forbid travel to the island until she commissioned an expedition team herself. Shining Armor, who only meant to take a faster route home from a diplomatic mission by flying over the island, goes missing. Upon hearing this from Celestia Twilight enlists the help of her many friends to travel to the island to rescue him, along with those who accompanied the prince. Celestia herself gathers a small army as precaution, though her advisors persistently say that the island should be uninhabited.

The hulking figure that greets them when they enter says otherwise.

Celestia was overjoyed to get her sister back after a thousand years of separation, but the caveat of having the government- and the entire country, for that matter- doomed to complete and utter collapse is a bit much to handle at this current moment for either of them.

Nightmare Moon is needed back. Desperately.

Almost every brony that has ever been in Fimfiction.net has seen a 'HiE as pony' story.

They usually are fairly predictable, with a few plot twists perhaps, but the general pattern is similar.

A mystical force/accident sends a completely unprepared human into the land of the ponies, and he must then undergo a journey of self discovery/destiny, as a human OR pony.

So what happens when a human is actually prepared with all the knowledge he'd need from the first two seasons of the show? And when Equestria isn't quite as predictable as he hoped?

This is that tale.
