No one would believe in the last years of the thirteenth century, that equine affairs were being watched by intelligences which inhabited the timeless swirls of space. No one would believe that we were being scrutinized as if someone with microscope studies beings that swarm and multiply in a drop water. Few ponies even considered the possibilities of life on other planets. And Yet across the gulf of luna’s space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes. And slowly... and surely... they drew their plans against us.

P.S. I thought about making a 2005 version of the War of the Worlds movie since there's really nothing for this version. Hope you like it. Oh and the tripod noises work well for chapter two.

Edit: Just to let you all know. I've fixed the names for the two delegates. I never did know what their names were and I apologize for that. Oh and on another note, this takes place when season 3 ends.

After being entombed in the earth for centuries, a crystalline monster has risen from the depths of the Equestrian soil. It and its minions want revenge. It attacks Equestria, turning all older ponies to crystal where they stand. The creature, however, refuses to attack the younger ponies, as the last time he saw the sun was when he, too, was young. With Twilight and her friends turned to crystal, what is Equestria to do?

Legend tells of Bat Ponies that existed over two hundred years ago, which are now declared extinct. But yet the legend's cry has been heard again, and the rumors have began to swirl around the subject once more. The way of life for this hybrid race is unusual, though expected considering the predicament they were and are continuing to be in. The race is now on its last breaths, as one small colony is still thought to have continued to survive. Why did the Bat Pony race diminish over two hundred years ago? What could have caused such an unfortunate event? You will embark on a journey with two close-bonded explorers. Geronimo and Dr. Terra have looked into the phenomenon for over a decade from speculation and rumors all across Equestria of their rumored return.

Twilight Sparkle, a lavender unicorn who specializes in magic, casts a spell. This "number 47" is a shrinking spell. Unfortunately, this causes some big trouble for her once Ponyville's residents shrink to the size of small toys. Do ponies enjoy being little?

The timeline is also just after Magic Duel, and the ponies' scale when they're small are that of the MLP:FiM toys here on Earth.

A couple of centuries have passed since the day that Twilight and her friends were anointed the new rulers of Equestria by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The Friendship Council lasted a while after the deaths of her friends but as the saying goes, “Nothing lasts forever.” She’s made new friends of course, but Spike is the only one left of those that remember any of the events that are written in the Friendship Journal or Twilight’s Book of Memories. And during a visit to the Shrine of Harmony she gets a vision of the future. A future where history repeats itself. A future without magic because it’s a future without friendship. A future where each race of pony have split once again back into three separate tribes. Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi all keep to themselves once more and neither trust the other. Because the future will change, so too she has to change. She has to change in order for history to repeat and the magic of friendship to be found once again in another era of Equestria’s darkest hour. A change that she never thought she would have to make. Instead of spreading friendship, she must hide it. Hide it and bury it, so that one day it can be found once again. Because if she doesn’t, the magic of friendship could be gone forever.

For years ponies and humans fought in vain against each other in a war that seemed like it would never end. But now that war is over, and both sides have made peace. But for one man the war never ends, as he chooses to walk a path of memories long dead and gone.

Note: This story was written for the Everfree Northwest Scribblefest competition. I wrote a story for it last year, so I thought I would do it again.

The G1 ponies find a door connecting to the G4 world, and some of them form an expedition, with Megan and her siblings coming along. Ponies meet ponies, and the mane 6 are given a new gift. Meanwhile on Earth, a veteran Ranger finds himself reunited with an old friend he thought had left him. There is an impending gathering of friends old and new, where ponies will meet Rangers. Everything seems to be going fine.

But we all know that can't last, don't we? For an old enemy is plotting in secret, and will soon seize her chance.

This story is a sequel to Anypony for Doomsday?

Velvet Step is a mostly ordinary earth pony from Canterlot. She dances in the ballet, goes to night clubs, and has the best friends that any pony could ask for.

And then, her bathroom suddenly, inexplicably and incomprehensibly becomes a gateway to another dimension (that's where the "mostly" comes in, you see).

Now, trapped in a different Equestria, her only hopes of returning home lie squarely in the capable professional unlikely-to-wreck-anything hooves of a frustrated princess and a retired king with a penchant for dark magic. Will Velvet conquer the long journeys, dangerous missions, sleepovers and editing mistakes that stand in her way, or will this be her last (mis)step?
