Twilight and Luna enjoy a pleasant afternoon until Twilight brings up her love life, prompting Luna to realize what she's been missing out on since her return.

Starlight Glimmer is TRYING to be a good friend, but she just has this awful tendency to overreact at just about anything.

Like trying to rule over an entire village of brainwashed ponies because a friend moved away.

Many scholars have argued over the most important issues known to pony kind. These intellectual debates will forever shape the very essence of importance and knowledge.

This is not an example of those debates.

Princess Celestia considered herself something of a gardener, despite the fact that she often had nothing to do with plants besides raising the one thing they needed in their life: the sun.

You see, she didn't deal with plants, but instead she had something of a green hoof when it came to ponies.

Celestia and Luna announce their retirement and their plans to turn the throne and power over Equestria to the mane 6. Unfortunately, this is the last straw for Twilight, and she goes off on a rant about why this isn't a good idea.

Princess Cadence is a lonely filly who has been shielded and protected all her life as a princess and member of the dwindling race of Sacred Alicorns. She longs for a friend her age to play with, and as a young teen she is sent to stay in Canterlot where her Aunt Celestia would personally mentor her in developing her magic. There she hopes to finally have the freedom she longs for and find somepony to be her friend. Instead, she is asked to foal sit for one of her aunt's royal adviser's fillies who may just be as lonely and reclusive as she.

This is the story of how Princess Cadence learns that the ability to give love cannot be complete without finding love for yourself, and sometimes it is found when you least expect it.

Time travel is complicated, requires a lot of power, and has horrible, horrible side effects.

Unfortunately for Starlight, researching said problems beforehoof is next to impossible.

It really is too bad that she's destroyed the world.
