A couple years after moving out of the Crystal Empire castle to live alongside and more like their subjects, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor decide that they are ready to have a foal. They got twin alicorn fillies, and couldn't be happier (they tried).

One of these fillies is Skyla, and aside from being an alicorn, is pretty much normal. The other one is Inova, a (literally) reborn human.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have put up with the constant bullying from Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon for long enough. One afternoon after school, the girls are waiting to be picked up when the two prissy fillies once again start giving them grief.

But when their pickup arrives, he also brings some words of wisdom... showing Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon that they aren't as high and mighty as they think.

This is just a little idea (little being the key word) I came up with during an unexpected hiatus I took. As soon as I was able, I put fingers to keyboard and wrote the story.

After his death, Sam has been chosen by none other than Discord to introduce humanity to Equestria. However, this samurai is not planning on being used as a pawn by anyone. He has set some new goals while stranded in this strange land inhabited by ponies, and he's going to need their help getting back home.

However, they are reluctant to help-with a bloody history trailing behind him, can Sam's lifestyle and philosophy be accepted by ponies? And what does Discord really want with Sam?

Rarity returns home at a strange and disjointed time in her life, hot off the heels of a divorce and the crumbling of her once carefully plotted (and carefully conventional) life path. It's an ideal time to reconnect with Twilight Sparkle, the woman who was, and is, and maybe will be the most important person in her life.

After losing their magic, the Dazzlings are hit hard by shame and sadness. None are more hopeless than Adagio Dazzle, who loses all light in her life and begins to sing a swan song. For sirens, this is suicide.

Sonata Dusk begs for the help of Sunset Shimmer and her friends to stop the song and keep Adagio alive, but they discover that saving a life is more difficult than saving a school, and they may not be able to keep their former enemy from fading away forever.

This story was inspired by the song "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace.

This story is a sequel to Stardust

Times are changing for Equestria as Twilight’s return brings with it news of people and cultures from beyond the peaceful world everypony knows. Aid and volunteers are freely offered to help the besieged humans of Earth because every Equestrian knows that’s what good friends do. Unfortunately, making friends can also have the unintended consequence of making enemies.

When the monsters besieging the humans strike at Equestria with a level of brutality not seen in over a thousand years, the cry for help is sent to all the kingdoms of the world. Honored allies step forth to fulfill ancient treaties and oaths. Enemies, old and new, bury their grievances. An alliance never before seen in Equestria will be created to combat the monsters from the void.

And because of these events, a grim but welcome sibling to the XCOM project is born.

One year ago, Twilight Sparkle the so-called human moved to Ponyville.

Rarity never believed that, of course. The "human" bit. After all, no human would willingly choose to live in a town of monsters, and no amount of magic or hunting orders or Plans with a capital "P" would ever change her mind on that—especially when said human was so constantly collected and calm.

But... if she wasn't human, what kind of monster could she be?
