This story is a sequel to Shuttlepod Down

Viernak Rhok, Midnight Station. Known throughout the Delta Quadrant as where sentients go to die. Few who see it ever live to talk about it, and for those forced to work there, even the thought of escape is a sentence to the deepest part of the mines. Their masters seek slaves to work, to toil and dig. Slaves, like the crew of the USS Voyager. Abducted, their hope lies with the few remaining residents of the ship. Can the youngest crew members of the Voyager find Captain Janeway and the rest? And if they do, can they find a way to get them back home.

But, with Cranky and Matilda's wedding under her belt, she can't help but wonder if she threw in the towel a little too early . . .

Good thing there's a pair of friends, dancing around their feelings for one another, that could use a little matchmaking. Amethyst just might be the perfect mare for the job.

But it’s a big world out there and maybe not everyone is meant for greatness.

When she was helping her moms friend Carrot Top in her field a day, she overhears Carrot Top say a very interesting word. Excited by her vocabulary being expanded, she rushes home to tell her mom and sister the news.

After my aunt Nimbus died, I was feeling really down. So you can imagine that I sorta needed somepony to help pull me through. Okay, scratch that—I really needed somepony.

Luckily, that's when I met Sparkler. The two of us are the best of friends now. If only our families would quit teasing us about our non-existant romance life. She's just a friend. That's it... isn't it?
