It had seemed like a good idea at the time, until Sunset actually read what Twilight wrote in her letter. She'd already said yes to seeing Celestia again, and she wouldn't go back on her word. As long as she remained convinced that this was a good idea and that it would all end well, she could get through it without a problem.

On a cold winter's night after Hearthswarming, Twilight Sparkle comes to Celestia with evidence of a terrible historical conspiracy. Celestia responds by teaching her what it means to be remembered.
Celestia has tired of seeing her sister, Luna, drink herself stupid day after day. Celestia can see it destroying Luna's life, but her attempts at intervention have failed. But now, she's given up convincing the alicorn to give up her moonshine, and instead is going to force her to cease in her destructive ways. Even if it means that she has to join in her sister's drunkenness to show her the kinds of problems it creates.
But why did Luna become an alcoholic upon returning from the moon? What was it that changed the once strong-willed, independent alicorn into a drunken mess?
Every year, Prince Solaris of Equestria and Princess Celestia of Equestria have a dimensional meeting to discuss matters pertaining to both worlds. What happens during these meetings, nopony knows.
They each have a devoutly loyal Royal Guard who almost share the same name, Starry Sky and Celestial Sky, and both have problems with being around the opposite sex.
When they get word of this, they decide to fix this problem in their own way.
Based off of the 'A Broad Scope' comic short.
Twilight Sparkle has had a crush on Princess Celestia for a very long time. When Celestia's own advice prompts her to confess her attraction, Twilight discovers a secret that Celestia has hidden for hundreds of years. With the fires of the sun itself separating them, can Twilight find a way for them to come together?

As part of the transition, Twilight finds herself going through Princess Celestia's old personal papers, finding secret after clue after instruction long forgotten about. And among those papers, Twilight finds a letter.
