Very funny. I really enjoyed reading it.

That's a great story! I feel Snowy Slopes only gets characterized a bit too late in the story, but I guess this does suit the way the story is told, and it was done so well done, when she eventually was characterized. Love it!

Also, the first depiction of Luna I actually enjoy. ;)

I actually struggled with characterizing Snowy in a unique way, and I wish I could have done more with her early on, but everything I tried just ended taking some of the shine off of Celestia.

I'm glad you liked my depiction of Luna... I tried to do something relatively unique with her.

Where can I downlaod this?

What?! Somepony gave you less than 5 stars? Blasphemy! It just takes one pony with bad taste to ruin a perfect record. Sheesh.

Anyway, had to read this again. It is such a good story!

Thanks!
I'm not too disturbed by someone not giving it five stars. It's a story about Celestia's dental problems, it's not going to appeal to everyone. ^_^

I REQUIRE MOAR!! No, seriously, this was HILARIOUS! Love Snowy. And Trollestia at her best. Very good read indeed!

O if only i could count the ways i love Princess Trollestia. A nice short story with a simular episodic feel to the original show. You took a simple problem and made it enjoyable. :trollestia:

Curse these pony stories, they drive me to insomnia!

...Probably should be sleeping at 1:30 AM, but this was a much better use of my time.

I love how everypony was characterized, especially Celestia.

(Yes, Celestia, I wonder why everypony thinks you're going to turn into a tyrant, too.)

Anyway, a great read, and not too long that I fall asleep, which is always a bonus for me. XD

I like this. In fact, it's going in my favorites.

Ah, this was wonderful work, thank you!

Excellent work! I loved the characterizations.

Excellent. I hope the see more.

Somepony needs to submit this to Equestria Daily. I'd do it, but I'm too lazy :pinkiehappy: Bravo!

I noticed the incomplete tag....more?:unsuresweetie:

Quite enjoyable indeed. The Princesses are always such fun in fics when done right. Plus immortals are just fun to write.:trollestia:

Probably my favorite Celestia-centered story ever. An absolute joy to read!

That was both wonderful and amazing. Really nicely done, and full of insight into the character.

The only thing that pissed me off was that Celestia supposedly values honesty, yet she still lied thoug her teeth (heh).

5/5

This was seriously on Fimfiction this whole time?

Fav'd... what the heck!

Nice little gem of a story!

Baha! This was excellent! Really good read. Might actually read it again on a later date. Good work.

Above and beyond the awesomeness of this as a one-shot Trollestia fic, I commend you, sir, for your Terry Pratchett shoutout. Snowy Slopes indeed!

Actually the Terry Pratchett reference was unintentional! I've read some Pratchett (Night Watch is my favorite so far) but I haven't read the one that apparently has a character named Snowy Slopes.:twilightsheepish:

Glad you liked the story! :pinkiehappy:

Ah. Well, the book is Jingo, in case you're a fan of the Vimes novels. :twistnerd:

very nice, is the bit about tea tree oil true?

Abalidoth, have you written something like this before and possibly removed it? I remember when I was newish to fimfiction that I read a story that was pretty much verbatim to this one. With that said, I don't want to sound like I am calling you a thief of someone else's story, I was just curious.

Yet another amazing fic I read on EqD that I had no idea was here. Oh well. Faved now at least.

Nicely done; it's always interesting to see the various takes on our beloved Princess. This one leans towards the "mischievous but loving queen" end of the spectrum, and while this is perhaps less canonical than Celestia, Whimsical Saint, it's a blast to read.

One last note: still tagged incomplete? For my cataloging reference, is this in error?

802734
Uh... I don't think so? This story is about a year old, maybe you remember reading it then?

807222
Thank you! And yes, that was an error; it's been fixed.

803027
Thank you, Heavy Weapons Guy. May your medic always ubercharge.

802527
Partially. Tea tree oil, like eucalyptus oil, has antibacterial properties. Eucalyptus oil is common in mouthwashes, but tea tree oil sounds more exotic. :twilightsheepish:

807958 ok, cause I have bad breath :twilightblush:

807946
Awwwww. Ok, it's official. I. Am. Stupid.

Here I am reading the date next to the fic as June10 and being 'heavily recommended' to read this I figured it was new. Sorry about that. :twilightblush:

This says "Incomplete", but this read like a one-shot. Is there going to be more?

808214
Probably best to use an actual mouthwash, tea tree oil can be toxic if you actually swallow it.

810113
No, that was an error, and it's been fixed. There is a planned sequel, as well as a distant prequel that's in the editing stages, but they won't be posted under this story header.

812125 thanks for the extra info :twilightoops:

Must say, very entertaining. I have a soft spot for Trollestia (though not as soft as my spot for Luna).

Damn this is a good story. Oh Celestia you old dawg:trollestia:

a shame this doesn't have the recognition it's worth that like bar should be nearly tripled before i'd be satisfied, thank you for teh excellent story, it's fun finding gems hidden away by time like this.

This is awesome. Have a yay and a Trollestia. :yay: :trollestia:

Heh, this is a nice little story. Very humorous.

and this line:
"I'm a dentist, Your Highness. Sugarcoating is my mortal enemy."
is just fantastic. :rainbowlaugh:

THis was a really nice, cute story which brought out the humorous side of Princess Celestia. THis is going into my favorites list.:yay:

This short story IMHO is one of the best if not the best fanfics I've read that involves Celestia as the central character, not during her time rising to the position nor when she had to face Luna. It keeps her thousands of years of life experience intact, but at the same time shows her flaws and limits without turning her into Molestia or holding some deep dark secret.
