Nobody is ever born good or evil; villains are made, this is common knowledge. It's no different in Equestria, where we've seen the origin stories of nearly every great terror that has risen to threaten the peace and happiness of the land.

But no one seems to know much of the Lord of Chaos himself, Discord, before he ruled Equestria for his own personal enjoyment. However, like all villains, he did have his own life before seizing power, and this is where we discover his beginning and all that has happened since.

Shortly after the fall of both Equestria and the sustainment of the Polyverse, Twilight Sparkle is burdened with new responsibility as both ruler and mediator as she watches her home fall apart to war before her eyes. Now with no other choice left, she is forced to ally with an old foe who isn't too keen on the quest. But once an old friend tags along, suddenly things don't seem so bad.

Only when her memories are wiped by a mysterious parasite, and the truth is really revealed, does Twilight truly understand the seriousness of the situation.

Nightmare Moon and Nightmare Rarity return to Earth. Nightmare Moon plans to bring eternal night and Nightmare Rarity plans to help her, but also intends to try again to conquer the queen of the night. Can she win the heart of Nightmare Moon a second time? Will she succeed? Will Nightmare Moon feel the same as Nightmare Rarity feels for her? But most importantly, will they be prevented or will they win?

Things have gone strangely for our heroes to be. Not only has Nightmare Moon returned, but the land of Equestria has been corrupted by some dark creatures called the Heartless. Working together with Sora, Donald, and Goofy, hopefully the worlds can all be saved before it is too late.

Note: I am going to make some changes to what I've done so far. I don't know if they all will be to everyone's liking, but I hope that the changes I make will work better for the story. One thing I'll do is have Kairi not play as major of a role until later into the story. It's not that I don't like her, it's just that I hope the story will work better for now if she became more important later on. I'm sorry.

There are sections of this story that is based off of a scene from Gravity Falls. However, these sections don’t appear in the same order as their scenes of inspiration in the show. As for timeline placement, this story takes place sometime during Season 9 but after the premier.
