Tempest Shadow had heard the rumors. Stories, told in frightened whispers by traders and wanderers, in the taverns and around campfires. The stories told of an almighty champion, a monstrous creature from far beyond the stars, that had come to defend Equestria from its enemies. The stories told it had slain dragons by the hundreds, broke the savage beasts of the Everfree like twigs beneath its boots, and torn down titans and monsters alike with its wrath. They said it wielded weapons that could turn mountains into gravel, and seas into desert. That it was clad in armor, that neither the sharpest blades, nor the mightiest magics, could pierce. The rumors said it was unstoppable, relentless, beyond the power of mare or beast to oppose, that it was. . . a god. Tempest had laughed at the rumors and stories, as she flew toward Equestria at the head of an armada, intent on the conquest of her weakling former homeland. Never once did she give the obviously absurd campfire tales even the slightest credence.

Following the Storm King's defeat, Tempest traveled the known world. She spread news of his downfall across formerly subjugated lands. Now there remains one creature to tell, and one more journey to make: The journey home.

He's an ordinary background pony like everypony else. A blank flank that resides in a small nameless town where it lightly snows near Luna Bay—a mysterious magical phenomenon and mundane environment with a bleak, wintry gray ambiance.

Remember his parents. Although doting, they would never endorse a young pony with such a dream. Right?

Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity have lived in the underwater world of Seaquestria ever since they could remember; and all they remembered before arriving in the undersea realm was when they were young fillies being lost at sea. They all knew that they were different than the other seaponies, with their unique appearances and lovely singing voices, and they wondered what it was like up in the world above.

After experiencing another storm that stirred up old and faint memories of their forgotten past, they all eventually sneak away from Seaquestria, return to Equestria, and regain their land hooves. All the while, they reunite with their families, go on fantastic adventures, and grow to fall in love with very special someponies or creatures.

However, there’s two things threaten the happiness that they have always dreamed of. Three attractive yet jealous mares with a darker fishy secret, and an ulterior motive other than eliminating whoever they see as competition, challenge the six of them to see who is the better singing group. And that whenever the Mane 6 touch water, they reveal their fish tails as a reminder of where they had been all the time apart from their families.

How can this group of best friends learn how to handle so much? Well, not standing alone and finding true strength within each other is part of the solution.

Rainbow Dash had everything she could ever want at the Royal Equestrian Navy Academy. A great job and a even greater fiancé. But when tragedy strikes, Rainbow soon finds herself on the run and she becomes a pirate in order to survive. With a past that always haunts her day and night she wonders how she can move on without completely forgetting herself.

After the Storm King steals a dragon egg from the Canterlot castle, he slowly starts his plan to rule Equestria

The Storm Kingdom was left in shambles after the demise of their King in the Battle of Canterlot. Rebellions skyrocketed across the Empire, leaving it in a perpetual state of war in an attempt to keep everything together.

Equestria and other nations snatch the opportunity, bringing an endless amount of aid to all rebels, while not directly involving themselves in the conflicts.

As the situation was beginning to worsen for the Storm Kingdom, their new King decides to open peace talks with Equestria with the hope of ending the violence, but then a new figure decided to put his hat in the ring.

He is feared by both the rebels and the Kingdom itself. Everything except his name is virtually unknown in Equestria and its allies. But what the rebels named him should be enough to tell what he was going to do.

They called him... the Butcher.

Tempest Shadow was a military leader, and one of the Storm King's most deadly generals; but a long time ago, she was just a little filly in Ponyville. Now she's asked Princess Celestia to help find her family, so that she can resume her life in Ponyville. Tempest knows Celestia has to be lying to her when she reveals that her mother is - Mrs. Cake?! So Tempest sets out on a quest to find her real family - right under Princess Celestia's nose!

She waited until she could hear the six ponies obviously following her start whispering among themselves before she spoke her prepared lines.

“OH,” Tempest Shadow intoned, loud enough for the would-be stalkers hiding behind the barrels in a nearby alleyway to hear her, “I DON’T KNOW IF THIS IS WHERE I BELONG. BUT … MY HEART, IT’S BECOMING SO FULL OF THIS STRANGE NEW EMOTION.”

The voices behind the barrels sharply quieted, listening keenly for her next words.

“I THINK … I’M GOING TO GIVE PONYVILLE ONE MORE TRY.” Tempest Shadow said, with as much gravitas as she could manage, and heaved an overdramatic sniffle as she rubbed beneath one eye. “I THINK I’M GOING TO GIVE LOVE … ONE MORE TRY.”

“I knew it!” came a soft voice from behind the barrel, which was rapidly shushed by five other voices.
