How far would you go to protect the ones you care for, when it means hurting the ones you love?

Sketch, an odd artist with a blurred view of the world, struggles to bring that world into focus. All to help an even stranger creature, one that has no place in society, and no hope of anything more. Who said life was fair?

Twilight Sparkle, Celestia and Luna are transported into a strange alternate Equestria, the Land of Always Summer, where the day lasts forever and a terrible queen rules with an iron hoof.

Cadance and Blueblood try to stave off boredom on a snowy day. Or, at least they try to. Every time the matter of going outside comes up, Blueblood sure finds ways to come up with more excuses.

Some of them are far, far better reasons to stay inside than others.

Sunny Starscout has set out on the path of reunifying Equestria. She's found a circle of friends, showed the tribes that they can co-exist, and even restored magic to the land.

Yet, there are questions that remained unanswered. What led to the breaking of the tribes in the first place? How did things go so very wrong? And just what is the best path forward in undoing centuries upon centuries of damage?

Sunny seeks the answers from those who came before, but has failed to consider the age-old adage; be careful what questions you ask...

...because you may not like the answers.

In a secret underground room near the back of Canterlot Castle, a super important meeting is being held. With figures like Princess Twilight Sparkle, Dragon Lord Ember, Queen Novo, and the now-retired Celestia all in attendance, what could have caused such a tense, dangerous meeting to take place?

And why do you have to be caught in the middle of it?!

Fluttershy finds a strange stuffed toy, one that looks like it's made of all sorts of animal parts, abandoned in the road. She decides to take it home and fix it...but soon, it begins talking, telling her its strange story.

She finds herself agreeing to help lift the curse on it...though she's not sure what that will entail.
