King Sombra's return, was more detrimental than any could imagine. Controlling ponies was a catalyst that brought about Sombra taking over a large section of Equestria, but controlling other species was what started a grand battle on Equus of which the likes Princess Celestia never imagined could ever happen. Rainbow Dash has lost a lot, her dignity as a pegasus, many of her friends to the war and Sombra's antics. But Sombra is strong, he is powerful, he is confident. He has made calculations and has prepared for this very moment.

What he didn't prepare for, was a certain Stormtrooper to join the battle and aid Rainbow Dash in the fight, that would ultimately decide the world's fate.

Little is known of what lays beyond the land of Equestria. Tales of wondrous endless lands of odd peculiarities, others of horrific lands that would drive even the strongest of stallions mad. Not much is known of these lands, but one thing is for certain... those who enter never return and by if some miracle they do, they are never the same.

As Applejack is working the farm, she hears her sister scream. When she can't aid her cornered sister, an odd being steps in and risks it's own life for that of the fillies.

Rainbow Dash is a tough pony. But all of us have that line. When crossed, it breaks us, and the bright rainbow that was our life becomes dimmed to gray. When Rainbow's line is crossed, can her friends piece her back together?
