A story about the four major dragon characters from Friendship is Magic (Spike, Smolder, Garble, and Ember) in the wake of Equestria’s fall as they work to unravel the mystery behind the collapse, and work to stop the pony who caused it from doing anymore harm.

This story is a sequel to How To Raise A Kirin In 12,371 Steps

Kunzite was the daughter of Twilight and Spike. An Equestrian Kirin, carrying the traits of her parents in a form rumored to never exist. Moonstone was the son of the Dragon Lord Ember. Just as tough as any dragon, but something unseen set him apart. They seemed to be as different as they could, but like their generation before them, they would still find common ground. Namely, the feeling that they would need to work together to stop a threat in the future.

As it turned out, Autumn Blaze has been hard at work uniting all the kirin tribes over the years. It's gone rather well, except she's had difficulty finding where two of the tribes have gone. When a stray kirin comes out of hiding and claims she ran away from the lost tribes, Kunzite thinks that might be worth investigating. Roping Moonstone into it, the three of them set out to find what happened to the kirin village, not sure what they'll find...

In the convention, a guy wanted to get a gift for Halloween, but ends up getting a different one instead. Needless to say, he buys it and not realizing the danger he got himself into. Meanwhile in the modern days of Equestria, small groups of hybrids and humans were in slavery breeding camps & cities when there once peaceful Haven Hybrid city back then has fallen from being caught in the middle of a ruthless war. Unbeknownst to the superiors, two children a hybrid and human are in the ruined city, praying for the ancient gear wielders to help save them and avenge the Haven Hybrid city. After the children left, they didn't know there wish came true as a portal opens up in the center ruined city, revealing a red dragon hybrid knight.

Spike grew into adulthood gracefully. If by gracefully, you mean that he grew into the biggest chad alive. Naturally, having the powerful chin and upper body of a Greek god attracts the attention of the ladies.

Spike finds his diamond-hard abs and hunky aesthetic a battlefield, fought over by four rabid suitors. Two dragonesses, a gryphon, and a pony all lay claim to him, but it's hard to say who will win the purple lizard's affections.

Twilight has gotten several visitors at her home for a 'conference' of sorts between the various peoples of her world and beyond. Zecora represents the Zebras, Ember the Dragons, Thorax the Changelings, Gilda the Griffons, and Sunset...represents Sunset herself, with a perspective granted by her time on the other side of the mirror.

Great strides in understanding are made, as discussions take place, and Twilight documents it all. Cultural touchstones are exchanged, traditions are shared, and most of all, new friends are made, while old friendships grow stronger. Things are in fact, going far better than one would expect.

That makes Luna suspicious. Things simply do not go this well when dealing with foreign powers, in her experience, and as she waits for the other horseshoe to drop, she decides to be proactive, and has five of her best Nightguard bat ponies do a bit of surreptitious observation, using her magic to make them all but invisible, just as dinner time rolls around.

This was an idea I had kicking around inside my head for a few weeks, and with the assistance of Shrunken LittleBro12 I was able to make something of it. He and I co-wrote this in a sort of Round Robin fashion, each taking over where the other left off, see if you can tell where the trade offs happened.

A long time ago, after an eventful day with Twilight and Celestia, Spike would get illusions of Twilight every day. As time passed, those illusions eventually disappeared, but every birthday, Twilight appears again. But Spike's 1200th birthday is going to be an interesting one.
