A reporter from The Canterlotter magazine tries to find the true Twilight Sparkle when she comes home to Canterlot after fighting for a return of harmony. This is the resulting article and accompanying artwork. It paints a picture of a Twilight Sparkle few have seen.

For the sake of the FimFiction terms of publication, this is a work of original prose fiction and qualifies as a story. It slots into the Enforcerverse but is completely standalone. The events take place immediately after the closing scene in The Return of Harmony - Part 2.

A collection of vignettes about the life and times of the dadliest of pones.

Twilight Sparkle is a little filly with a big superpower. Shining Armor was more or less aware of this power, but he didn't know just how unstoppable it could be if unleashed.

However, once Shining finally learned what it could do by testing it, he decided to milk the hay out of his little sister's superpower while out shopping.

Unfortunately, things eventually ended with a pony in over their head.

I'm Night Light. My wife, Twilight Velvet, takes care of the needs of two alicorns, though tonight she is specifically looking after a third. While she is away—on grandmotherly foalsitting duties—I have a surprise visitor who needs help. Normally my wife would be the source of that, but tonight I am put to the test to keep one of Equestria's rulers safe from her own nightmares.

In Equestrian heraldry, the Kite Shield is a symbol of protection and strength, and those ponies with a kite shield cutie mark are usually honor bound to bravely protect any sapient being who may need their aid, often at great risk to their own lives.

This is the story of two ponies with such cutie marks, and what these cutie marks reveal to the other.

One pony is a gallant and brave career soldier, who has devoted his entire life to protecting Equestria from all enemies foreign and domestic.

The other is the reincarnated form of one of Equestria's greatest villains, given a second chance, now honor bound to use her power to protect the ponies she cares about.

It is a year since the events of Winter Bells and great changes are afoot this Hearth's Warming, as a newborn alicorn prince binds Twilight’s family closer than ever. And a conversation about the similar marks on their hides will give Uncle and Niece a new and better understanding of each other, and of each other's place in Equestria's emerging future.
