ThePinkedWonder

Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

E

Twilight Sparkle is a little filly with a big superpower. Shining Armor was more or less aware of this power, but he didn't know just how unstoppable it could be if unleashed.

However, once Shining finally learned what it could do by testing it, he decided to milk the hay out of his little sister's superpower while out shopping.

Unfortunately, things eventually ended with a pony in over their head.

One should know better than to wield such a powerful ball of cuteness like a weapon... :applejackunsure:

“To a store you didn’t go to,” Velvet answered. “We’re going to show you how to land a real deal with Twilight’s superpower.”

oh boy
now i want to see how this goes

I can't believe Twi's parents are okay with this.
Great job so far, I already love this story!

With the potential bits being saved, I kinda can't blame them. Hell, a 70-inch 4k TV would look pretty good in my living room, and buying Twi some books in return for her using her superpower to help me get one for possibly $100, yes please! And I'd offer her an ear scratching--she'd probably like her ears being scratched.

The superpower is spoiler lol

11418946

So do I. So do I. That should tell you something considering I'm the one writing the story:rainbowlaugh:

They are okay with it, and then some:rainbowlaugh: Glad you're enjoying the story so far!

Cute beginning for a story :)

Makes me wonder if nepotism is a serious issue in Canterlot's government, in no small thanks to Twilight...

11420239
Ah, yes... The strongest superpower of all: ‘spoiler lol.’

11420526

Thanks, and at this rate, Twilight-triggered nepotism just might become a problem...and good luck Equestria if Fluttershy gets into the act too:rainbowlaugh:

11421723
Indeed.

I would say I disapprove of this...

...but I confess I did the same with my own daughter when she was little, then right up until she was a teenager. You wouldn't believe the discounts we got from clueless male clerks in grocery stores, game shops, Best Buy, restaurants...all she had to do was smile at them and cock her head a certain way, and they'd be putty in her hands.

...I suck as a parent, I know, you don't have to tell me...

Ah, so this is Twilight's superhero origin story to contrast with Cozy Glow's as a supervillain?

11422236
Twilight Velvet and Night Light: Yes! Somepony gets it!

Ah, so this is Twilight's superhero origin story to contrast with Cozy Glow's as a supervillain?

This isn't going to be like that and is planned to just be three chapters long. However, I have given thoughts, for the last couple of months, of Twilight or Fluttershy reforming villains by using their strongest power: being cute.

Now I understand how Twiley became the student of Celestia. She cuted her way into it!

11425788
That would be a viable way for Twi to still be Sunbutt's student if the Rainbow doesn't happen:rainbowlaugh:

Twilight's family is going on a big crime spree here! I wonder what other crimes are left for Twilight to commit other than lessening prices. With her cuteness superpower, I'm guessing it's possible to do many things.

11427825

With her cuteness superpower, I'm guessing it's possible to do many things.

Yeah, who knows what Twilight could do if she decided to fully exploit her superpower for far more things?

Adorable story! I hope you write another story soon :)

11430650
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the story! I have some stories in the works and the next one will probably be out in around a couple of weeks.

So instead of making that overused joke again, what would you consider doing if you had the type of superpower Twi had in this story?

Networking obviously.:rainbowwild:

11422455

Ah, so this is Twilight's superhero origin story to contrast with Cozy Glow's as a supervillain?

I'd read that.:pinkiehappy:

There was a story that implied the reason no one noticed Wallflower Blush was because she was too cute to be perceived for long by mortal minds.

I'd put Cozy Glow up against Wallflower Blush any day. It would explain Cozy's need for attention.

When Shining is going over the shopping list with Twilight, bread gets mentioned twice.

There was a story that implied the reason no one noticed Wallflower Blush was because she was too cute to be perceived for long by mortal minds.

That would be a whole another level of cuteness: to be so cute, mortal minds have to filter you out because they can't handle it:rainbowlaugh:

11446586

Thanks for pointing that out and I fixed it. I thought I fixed that error before I submitted the story, but guess I didn't.:twilightsheepish:
