The question from Rarity is sudden, and while Twilight may not believe in them, she's curious enough to listen. It must just be a story, after all.

Edited from an entry into the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting contest "Seer's Spookfest #2". We were given no prompt, other than writing a horror story.

Buttercup Rose lives a normal life, in a normal town in the middle of Equestria. She has a normal job, a normal family, and normal friends.
Or, well. That's what she shows on the outside to everypony she meets. On the inside, she's fractured. She goes to work with threats hanging over her head, omits the truth from friends she spends time with, and battles a parasitic alternate personality for control of her body.
This personality, this other her, would like to be set free if Buttercup doesn't mind at all.
Buttercup wouldn't be opposed to fulfilling this request under normal circumstances.
But Scarlet Knife is anything but normal. In fact, she is a murderer.
And Buttercup wants her to stop.

After a great calamity, many worlds are merged. This is a time for heros!..but also villains. One boy must cast off the shackles of normality, build his TRUE family, become a man, save the world. But above all...he must SECURE. CONTAIN. PROTECT.

Prince Uriah had grown tired and anxious. Despite his adventures and victories, there was just something missing. He began to question, in spite of all that he did, if he really ever made a difference in anypony's life. That's when he met Scarlet Thorn, undoubtedly the wildest and strangest pony he'd ever know, and certainly one, he'd learn, he couldn't live without.

This story is a sequel to Alicorn Mysteries

Hardy meets Fluttershy, a timid pegasus who loves animals. They converse for a while, when Fluttershy tells him about her family, and he's overwhelmed with mixed emotions. (Takes place one month after Stopping The Colt) (Includes a few quotes from Silent Ponyville 2 used in flashbacks in chapters:6-7, 9, 11,13-14)

Over sixty years after the original Ultraman left earth, a dimensional ripthrows Cory into an alien world on the brink of an age of monsters. With the help of his new comrades, and their newly established EMEP (Equestrian Monster Extermination Party.) he will fight his way through the same age of monsters his homeworld faced.

Side Note: I left this place long time ago. No longer in the fandom, but I want to finish what I started cause I had so many great ideas. So if the plot isn't canon with the show events, forgive me. I haven't watched any of it in several years. Hope you all enjoy.

When the CMC first read the story that prompted them to break Cheerilee and Mac's love potion, perhaps it was for their own good that it was the abridged version.

After all, some ponies are unfortunate enough to witness history being made... and empires being unmade.

This story was for the Holidays Panic Contest on Quills and Sofas Speedwriting. It placed 3rd.

He's the only human in Equestria, and it's amazing here!
Everyone is so nice, and they know how to sing!
Sam knows how to sing too, but he isn't the best at it, but he has fun!
He goes ahead and tries it with his friends then they burst into song...

...this proves to be a mistake.

A normal evening in Ponyville steadily falls into a mystery. The sun has set just like any other day, but the moon never rose to take its place. Even the stars refuse to shine in the sky. With no word from the princesses and most of her friends too busy working to help keep Ponyville functioning, Twilight Sparkle takes it upon herself to get to the bottom of the mystery with a reluctant Fluttershy in tow.

What is causing this phenomenon? And why can't she shake the feeling of being watched?
