Y’all remember when I mentioned that when I was stressed out you got cute stories about cute ponies doing cute pony things?
Well.
Y’all remember when I mentioned that when I was stressed out you got cute stories about cute ponies doing cute pony things?
Well.
So with my insane school starting back on Monday, I'll have time to write again! Yes, you read that right. I'll have more time to write when in school. Because I'll be able to stick to a schedule whereas I'm all over the place in the summer. But I'm getting back into the groove of things now. I have the next chapter of Amor that I perpetually forget I have (huh, it's at 2254 words) as well as more of a certain cloppy sequel that has taken forever to get started but is finally rolling
Things Bronies Say: Part Two
Here is part two of my Things Bronies Say series. I hope you will like it. You can find part one here.
Enjoy.
1. Sunset Shimmer is literally the worst villain in the whole MLP franchise and she was reformed too quickly. I hope that she won't appear in any more movies after this one!
*One movie later.*
Evening folks, how are ya all?
I realize I've been pretty quiet on this site lately. Most of my blogs have been update blogs, and they've really been minor ones at that. I've published a few chapters of Cyclosa, but that's one of my lesser viewed stories so I imagine the least likely to perturb anyone. And yet its the one i'm prioritizing cause I'm apparently dumb.
Now I just need a proofreader and/or editor to help me out by looking it over.
So I sent in the first chapter into some proofreading group I came across. Hope someone comments soon about it. Haven't done any story writing in a while but then I'm not expecting to be praised on my first chapter piece.
Not your usual kind of blog, but a necessary one anyway.
I don't usually do signal boosts; there are many reasons for this, but mainly -- I understand that it's my responsibility to only give my followers what they asked for when they clicked the 'follow' button, and that usually only translates as my content. If you had wanted to read MrNumbers' blogs, you would follow him instead.
As promised, the latest chapter of "The Iron Horse: Human After All" is here! Enjoy!
Chapter 2 - "Teachers"
I miss this show.
OKAY.
LISTEN.
NO.
GET THE FUCK OUT.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
I CAN'T FEED YOU ALL!

The Royal Guard is forever searching, forever seeking, and as one of its baleful eyes, so am I.
Though, ironically, I have about twice the pass rate of the average Royal Guard reviewer. So much for hating everything.
Today we have three stories from the queue, along with two other pieces that I selected for my own reading enjoyment.
Today’s stories:
The New Crop by xjuggernaughtx
One Tenth-Bit by Estee
And this time there's a three in front!
Oh no!
(Oh, and new chapters coming soon)

So, I noticed something weird tonight.
I was looking over my userpage and considering doing some spring cleaning and I noticed my "Needs More Love" bar was missing a story. Specifically, it had 4 instead of 5, and then I realized why.
I'm in the middle of writing a fic (suprise, suprise; I'm always in the middle of a fic), and it struck me how awful my first ever story on FimFiction was. Honestly, it was absolutely terrible. Let me just go ahead and list my top five of the biggest mistakes any author can make:
A couple of weeks ago, one of my sister's friends recommended that I try watching a new anime, Akiba Maid War; I was bitching about what I didn't like in another anime, and he suggested that Akiba was well-animated, had a nice balance of violence and humor, and wasn't full of uncomfortably oversexualized underage girls.
I love podcasts. They're like audiobooks with character and panache. They range from funny to serious, light-hearted to grim, fictitious to factual. Plus, they're really convenient entertainment for long road trips, cleaning the house, or being sat next to weird Uncle Jim at Thanksgiving. Here's a list of some of my favorite podcasts, along with a short description. If you see one you like, why not give it a go?
Fiction
It’s happened again! Another author has risen to the challenge of the Not-A-Contest!
And as you might have guessed from the intro image, the protagonist is a griffon.
Today is Election Day in the United States, the crescendo of over a year and a half of people campaigning to be leader of the free world. Be sure to vote, if you haven’t already (I did in mid-October, because here in Oregon, we vote by mail – no waiting around in line, and plenty of time to research the topics while you’re voting).
For some reason, one thing I absolutely love to death is JRPG tropes. I’m talking stuff like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, stuff concerning party composition, storyline tropes, and all that jazz.
It’s apparently gone so far that I want to write some MLP JRPG thing. It includes all this party composition, enemy tropes, and stuff like that. This may be because I’m playing through Dragon Quest VI and I honestly love it a lot.
The rough, experimental little piece about the pegasus tribe? Well, it's now a polished little piece in its own right. If you liked the early version, give this one a read, upvote, and comment. More words to follow, soon.
