So the news has been making the rounds for the past 24 hours; unless the corporate psychopaths change gears, hard, third-party apps for Reddit will be a thing of the past on July 1st, when new, absurd levels of pricing are put into effect for API access.
If that actually happens, I am going to have so much fucking free time outside of work. And during work.

The content and tone of this blog will deviate greatly from many of my previous ones.
Let me first note that I am a relatively new user to Reddit; I was coaxed by uncle Dave to join when he, unrequested, gave me an iPad during the holidays last year. I only seriously began to use Reddit (for both posting and consuming) in the earlier half of this year. Naturally, as a new Brony, I subscribed to a few of the few alive and relevant subreddits, including the main one, /r/mylittlepony.

We're two days out from the launch of Colony, and things are looking good. But that doesn't mean it's time to slow down or stop. Dead Silver's Version 2.0 needs to be finalized and the price dropped, advertisements still need to be sent out, etc. So I've got my workload cut out for me.
Naturally, I'm adding to it.

It also doubles as my history with the fandom, as this project has been ruminating on and off the back burner since shortly after I joined the herd. Besides, it is relevant as a Reddit crosspost because I have talked about it extensively over there in the various /r/mylittlepony Thursday threads. Why not blog about it here?
