So I learned something rather embarrassing a week ago.
So I learned something rather embarrassing a week ago.
IN WHICH I DISCUSS MY FAVOURITE SIDE-STORY
This is the fourth… point-two… in a six-part series. Here's Part 1, wherein may be found links to all other parts. Cross-linking everything takes time I don't have right now. Sorry.
My goodness do I have a ton of news!
Look at this prime bughusband material! Resist the snuggles? You cannot.
First off, I found Thorax on Fimfiction and hunted him down:
Strategically-placed mantlerbles! These lips have already seen a hundred kisses.
First off: I'M BACK! Woo! My time away was great but I'm also glad to be back.
SECOND: One of the best old ponyfics of ALL TIME has gone up to fimfiction: GO. GO AND GIVE IT LIKES AND PRAISE! It has a ten out of ten rating from me so much! LOAD IT WITH PRAISE.
It's rated M, but I think it doesn't have to be necessarily. It's being featured in LSB and it's still keeping the T rating.
Chapter 6 of “Behind Him” is nearing completion. There are at least two or three scenes that need to be edited then all the editing needs to be done. I apologize for the incredibly long delay on this one, life has gotten super busy and other personal things have put this story on a long hold. I don’t have a set publication date but I hope to not spend too much longer on this chapter.
Well, it had a very chaotic arrival, but it is finally here. Letter of Hope is here for all the read and buy. Come over, and leave a comment on the preview version. Buy a copy of the finished product and leave a review on Amazon or Goodreader. It's sitting at a cheap $2.99 for the remains of this month, so get a copy while you have a chance. I'm working hard on the sequel right now and if sales go well, I should have a preview of that up at the end of this month.
A collection of stories.. sh*tfics actually.
Don't bother reading that if you don't like crackfics or mild swearing or mean words.
I'm seriously working on a real story. Don't believe me?
...
Okay. Well I don't believe you either.
Throwing out a blogpost because the thought came to mind but
I really feel like Crimson would be a really solid original fiction, so I’m starting to really considerrrrrr making it original fiction, but that would mean having to take it off Fimfic, and I don’t know what to do.
I’ll probably finish it here while simultaneously converting it to original fiction and then once that’s done take it off here?
I must admit it actually took me a bit to come up with that title, true as it is. Hey folks, Max here with the weekly update, and as noted above, this week it’s full of dragons. Why? Well, because I’ll be talking about two dragon books today.
Furthermore, the first one I’m going to talk about is not my own.
I am excited to announce that I had two of my stories published in a book collection!
I Published Two Stories In Delightful Horrors: Tales From the Darkest Corners of the Web
The book collection was put together by Kenneth Kohl.
My story, ‘Don’t Eat The Sandwiches’ appears on page 5.
IN WHICH I BRIEFLY RETURN
Subtitle: A LUCKY BREAK.
Okay, so, good news bad news time. Bad News: I still don't have a new laptop (accumulating the funds to buy it has been slower than anticipated) so FF4.0 is still mostly broken for me.
Well, that makes three books that I have had my stories published in now thanks to the awesome team effort of all of the authors involved in the projects.
These are the three books that have my stories in them.

My Dearest Applejack's two new chapters are written and, as of now, are being edited. They are expected to arrive either tomorrow, or next week. Which ever comes first.
I spent some time considering what I can do to get some work out there, so I came up with this short story I've had for quite some time. It was a story based on the series I started but never finished called Afterworld.
I published it last night as an e-book for Kindle and many other devices. It's short, it's crappy and I know it, but what can you do? I've made some edits to the old version, which made me cringe, and this is what the result looks like.
I Published A Story In 6 Plots: Leo & Other Grave Tales
The book collection was put together by Kenneth Kohl.
My story, ‘The Family Secret’ appears on page 57.

i have several unpublished stories in the bank, but this one popped into my head, and like my last one-shot, it is not going away.
You may already have heard about this from another author you follow, but RBDash47--among his many fandom contributions, he's probably best-known for having run the Pony Fiction Vault--is starting up a new project called Ponyfeather Publishing. Its goal? To provide high-quality ebooks (and ultimately, high-quality physical copies) of select fanfiction for the discerning ponyfic reader.
I published something! And it won't be stuck with an incomplete tag for long. One of the things I've been working on is this short, sweet little multichapter comedy to help with getting back into writing. It had been sitting around for a few years with only a little bit that was written, and I decided it was an easy project to dust off and get published. There are four chapters. Three are already written. One is already published. The fourth is totally outlined.
