If you're anything like me, when you see a story (completed or not) that looks interesting but is incredibly long, you stick it in your "Read it Later" queue, eventually download it for your e-reader when you've got time to kill, read it, and are either impressed by its plot and character arcs and worldbuilding, or disappointed because the pacing is glacial and a ten thousand word chapter can be nothing more than, "Cool train, innit?" (I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP OR EXAGGERATING.) But
Hey everyone! Just a quick note that my debut book "Rise of the Battlebitch" is only 99 cents on the Kindle store for the next week only! It's to celebrate two things - first and foremost, this week marks SEVEN YEARS that I've been writing smut for a living. Been a loooot of magical dicks in that time. But I'm also going to be posting a cover reveal of my next book next week, so keep an eye on my Twitter for that!

Back when I firstcused this sitecI used an old Kindle Fire with a crack down the middle that my little brother worsened. This Kindle ended u dissapearing for over a year until I found it in my ex-meth addict mom's room. I read my first stories on this tablet and it's so nice to be reading with it again.
I commissioned this absolutely stunning piece by an outside artist known as Skyeypony on DeviantArt. Illustrious work, is it not?
Today I had my first day off that I’ll see in a 17-day period (right in the middle of it) but because I’m working two jobs right now. And I’m glad to say I’ve made great progress on the story. I’ve just about finished A Kindled Beginning now. Need to go back and edit it further which will probably eat at more of my free time, to make sure it comes out perfect come publication.
In just a few days, it could change dramatically in what feels like the blink of an eye.
Just here to update those who are awaiting my work. I hardly think anyone is seriously waiting at the edge of their seat for my stories, but it is important that I make one of these types of blogs in case anyone asks me in the future. That way I can just redirect them to my blog.
Got some rough news before today’s Being a Better Writerfolks. Friday, June 1st, Shadow of an Empire launched (it is doing pretty well, by the way; have you read it yet?). Which meant Thursday night at midnight I was doing what I do when a new book comes out: sending out thank-you and reward copies.
Tera Amare's debut finally happened! The all-seeing Nursery Mother who commands respect from even the royal heads of two states. And Chrys' moral compass. This wisened, well-traveled unicorn whose age is a mystery is an old, old character of mine. To a story that no longer exists, but whose spirit extends to the rest of my works. You bet I had to get a drawing of what she's capable of! Take a look:
Seems like I've been all business lately with my blogs, but because my artists are working wonders lately! And quite quickly. Here's the illustration Skyey made for me for the latest chapter of A Kindled End. It was a simple drawing this time around, but an opportunity to make it beautiful. Skyey absolutely delivered. What do you think?
Lest we forget the wonderful artist who has made a lot of nice art possible, Mutter_Butter comes back at it again to finish up the empty few chapters that didn't get to see an illustration despite the many good moments they had going on. Maybe you recognize the moments they come from? Here, have a look.
