Heya guys! It's been a bit of a long while since I've shown myself. What with an extreme crunch at work which I can only aptly describe as a "Death March" like how the Japanese do, and the holidays around the corner plus a seasonal manuscript I had to do, I had just about no air to breath these last few days. For now, I have a few days to relax, but I'll likely return to that crunch until the mid-January. I'll do my darndest to get a chapter out by Christmas though, energy and soul willing. And
Lest we forget the wonderful artist who has made a lot of nice art possible, Mutter_Butter comes back at it again to finish up the empty few chapters that didn't get to see an illustration despite the many good moments they had going on. Maybe you recognize the moments they come from? Here, have a look.

Seems like I've been all business lately with my blogs, but because my artists are working wonders lately! And quite quickly. Here's the illustration Skyey made for me for the latest chapter of A Kindled End. It was a simple drawing this time around, but an opportunity to make it beautiful. Skyey absolutely delivered. What do you think?
Nearing the final few pictures left to illustrate for Beginning, I figured I had only big ones to show left. Here's one that pulls at the heartstrings. Chrys' remorse. When she accidentally blasts the Diamond Dogs unconscious thinking she seriously harmed them (but didn't).
We call it... Proof of Love. Illustration for chapter 1.
It shows a smol Chrys receiving the heartfelt gift of Queen Chrysalis, during a life-defining moment. Skyey's art is truly, truly fantastic. And she made my lonely Christmas so much brighter by getting it out to me on the day of. Hope you like it too!
Another illustration for A Kindled Change! To be featured in Chapter 3: Alone. This time by WolfieDrawie on Deviant Art. You can also find a link to her Instagram where she posts most of her work. If you feel so inclined, be sure to give her a follow!
"The Maddening Darkness" by LuckyEd on Deviant Art. Illustration for The Finale: Chapter 9 of A Kindled Change.
An absolutely wonderful artist known as LuckyEd on Deviant Art has now added to A Kindled Change's illustrations for my artist collaboration project. The piece that I commissioned her was ultra important to the story. But not just this story, but to all three of Chrys' saga. And we call it...
Kindled - By LuckyEd.
Tera Amare's debut finally happened! The all-seeing Nursery Mother who commands respect from even the royal heads of two states. And Chrys' moral compass. This wisened, well-traveled unicorn whose age is a mystery is an old, old character of mine. To a story that no longer exists, but whose spirit extends to the rest of my works. You bet I had to get a drawing of what she's capable of! Take a look:
This is the last one for a while, as I need to focus on writing the rest of the story now. For the last two weeks I've deviated towards making other stuff for A Kindled Beginning and I've waylaid it enough. Even though I reached an important conclusion to Chrys' most pressing issue with Twilight, her adventure continues. I mean, she's only gone to school for the total of two days. What a start to a story though. BIG adventures ahead for my little girl. For a young girl who feels very
I bring you a double whammy today, since both of my artists finished their pieces in unison almost. I also felt it important to show them together to introduce a new character. The Sage of Fate. A long-lived chronicler of worthy stories to add to his antlers, so that those stories can immortalized in the strings of fate.
