I've always said one thing about who I am as a person. "Eternally in pursuit of the goodness in the heart." It's what called me to the show. It's why I'm here now. And it's what I love to write about.

New Cover Art for A Kindled Change · 3:52am Oct 22nd, 2022

"Facing Your Fears"

I recently created new cover art for A Kindled Change with the help of Little Tigress. As the progenitor to my series, I felt like I should give it a bit of love and not just place all of it into its Sequel, A Kindled Beginning. Which you should totally check it out if you haven't already because I've gone ham with it and it's about to see its final chapter soon.

Can you tell what scene it came from? Would you even still remember it? It was the moment that stuck with me the most, and I knew I had to get it drawn. Also, a very nice representation of the story as it has layered symbolism in its visual meaning. Little Tigress does a thing I really like with color mixing and I knew she'd be able to make a visually stunning background for the cover art. Definitely take a look at her work if you like it.

Lastly, I do implore you to check out the sequel and leave me your thoughts! I really need a pick-me-up. That penultimate chapter was a really tough one to write and so much consideration went into it, but the reception has been... non-existent. Less than a handful of new unique views and not even a single like to show for it. I try not to let it get me down but I'm only human at the end of the day, and it's quite disheartening. Oh well, I'm not about to give you my sob story. All my work and production value going into it is my show of how much I love Chrys and what that story means to me. If for no one else, I'm writing it for me.

I'm sure you'll get some reads over the weekend! Mid-week releases have always seemed a bit slower than weekend releases. Have faith in your work! You're doing great!

Thanks, Serinity. It's like I mentioned to you before, I also think it's a matter of the sequel funneling views into the prequel. Is my own fault 'spose. Network skills practically 0. I would've been wise to never split the story in two to begin with. But in my foolhardy decision-making, I'll be doing it a third time in the future.

With reckless abandon, the best I can do is keep my chin up.
