Twilight Sparkle was no stranger to being called down to the Principal's office, and most times she was even excited to spend some time with Principal Celestia. This time, however, she was not so lucky. Before she knew it she'd been whisked off the Camp Everfree for four weeks as a counselor. With no interest in the so-called great outdoors, four other counselors who insist on being her friends, and one who wants a little something more, she may just be in for the summer of a lifetime.

A collaboration between myself and ModMCdl, who also did the cover art. We both hope you enjoy our little foray into humanized AU.

When Vinyl and Octavia first meet on the streets of Manehattan it seems that they have little in common. Octavia is a part of a prestigious String Quartet and a graduate of Canterlot's most acclaimed music school. Vinyl, on the other hand, is a young street musician, playing and living on the dirty streets of the low-end part of the city, trying to survive harsh winters without shelter. But there is a one thing they share that binds them together in spite of everything: music. And thus their story unfolds. But with all of the struggles they face and the secrets they keep, can two ponies who are so different ever find peace with each other and, more importantly, with themselves?

Octavia was no stranger to mistakes. She had plenty of shows that slowly went south, but she was usually able to fix things before they got too bad. But after a good night of celebrating, she causes a major rift between herself and her now former lover. Despite a month having passed, Octavia wants to try and clear the air.

With another night of drinks comes another visit to Octavia's house for Vinyl. The reasons for both are as they have been for the past while.

Despite the somewhat recent bad blood between the two, Octavia can't see somepony once dear to her suffer.

The trouble is, can she truly speak to one who is unwilling to listen?

The failed invasion of that mad queen, Chrysalis, rocked the changeling community. From the hives nestled outside Equestria, to their kin living in peace within, they watch those colorful ponies eye one another with suspicion and let themselves be swallowed by fear and distrust.

A gamble by Princess Celestia has summoned forth the diplomat to the Seekers, the one changeling who may be able to ease tensions between their races and restore balance. The Bearer of Magic has been summoned after a century of peace.

And, like her mother before her, Princess Twilight Sparkle will answer the call.

Will their relationship weather the trials and tribulations or will it crash and burn all around them?

These are the scars that are bare for the world to see, and they are reminders that no matter how happy we once were, we are no longer. But still Rainbow Dash takes the trips that festers the wounds and opens the scars, because no matter how awful she feels, forgetting would be worse.
