After Princess Luna and Princess Cadence help Twilight clean up Ponyville from excessive dark magic, the both of them start to consider just how much Spike means to them.

When both princesses come to see themselves as aunts for Spike, they find themselves competing against each other for the little dragon's favor. To that end, they both plan a party for Spike and that includes getting Pinkie Pie involved.

Meanwhile, Spike has no clue what the princesses are getting up to, or why Pinkie Pie seems to be acting even crazier than usual. Will the stress of planing competing parties be too much for Pinkie and cause her to spill the beans? Or will Luna and Cadence be able to put aside their differences before then?

The girls are out of town, again. Spike and Big Mac are left behind. All the farm chores are handled, but there's little to do. Spike has an idea that he's willing to try, if Big Mac is up for it. A little roleplaying can pass the time and cement friendships, or drive them apart, either way.

So basically, my parents are going on holiday and leaving me to look after the house. Which inspired this story.

Twilight has been invited by the Princess to spend a week in Canterlot. Spike is left home alone, Twilight has asked her friends to keep an eye on her number one assistant. Over the course of the week Spike is visited by each of the Elements, and he takes the oppurtunity to learn a little more about his friends, maybe a little more than he bargained for.

Constructive Criticism is welcome. This is my first ever piece of fan fiction (Hooray!)

Twilight loves Spike, her precious hatchling, treating him like a son. Spike, in turn, loves her as his hatch mother. But, sometimes, Spike makes mistakes. And mistakes have consequences.

Contains: A very sorry dragon getting a spanking.

Twilight is home for the holidays, and she and her brothers have a special little tradition between them as they reflect on the events past.

(Takes place immediately after "Luna Eclipsed", colab with yodajax10.) Another Nightmare Night has come and gone, and now Ponyville begins the process of cleaning up after it.

Spike offers to help out, but Twilight reassures him that they can handle things on their own. So, reluctantly, the baby dragon decides to spend a little time with Princess Luna, who has just come out of her shell.

But what can the two talk about? Quite a lot, actually. And both will come to realize, they have something in common.

After quite a lot of pestering, Princess Luna allowed the Cutie Mark Crusaders to see the dreams of their friends one night. But after a mistake, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo watched Spike despair in a nightmare. After seeing what torments him, the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide to conquer an impossible mission: Give Spike a purpose and his own Cutie Mark.

Every Saturday, Night Light and Shining Armor practice magic together; preparing Shining to be a guard for the princess one day. And every Saturday, Spike watches them from a distance in misery. He badly wishes he could be a part of the unicorn family, but without any magic of his own, What's a dragon to do?

During Lesson Zero, Spike warned Celestia of Twilight's impending breakdown. What if Spike did this during the course of many episodes, with Celestia valuing his input?

Sometimes, however, it backfires on the both of them, as in the case of A Canterlot Wedding. Afterwards, Celestia has a heartfelt chat with Spike.
