For a thousand years, whenever Celestia looked at herself in the mirror, someone else was staring back. Giving into that someone's demands could always be a challenge. But who else could understand this struggle?

No one... Until her sister returned.

Just a dramatic one shot I wrote in about an hour. Please comment and review.

Twilight is fed up having to take care of every threat to Equestria.
Especially since she is way too smart NOT to notice the discrepancy between Celestia's so called 'defeats' and the actual power she knows her mentor possesses.

Therefore, Twilight decides to kick Celestia's royal butt (figuratively) into dealing with all the villains herself again.

After all, the Princess of Friendship deserves some vacation, too.

Many seasons ago, the four princesses of Equestria used magic beyond their understanding to defeat a great evil and accidentally created a new, unique being in the process. Now, with the spell’s original creators returned from Limbo, the princesses are determined to set things right.

A long asked for short sequel to my first fic on this site, Sum of Their Parts. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed it enough to push me to write this epilogue of sorts to the original tale.

Chrysalis expected a few things to come out of her failed invasion. New enemies, cuts, bruises. But she really wasn't expecting to be expecting. Worst yet, the father of her unborn isn't a he, but a she who just so happens to be the Princess of Equestria.

With an age-old threat poised to devastate Equestria, the Princesses gather to use a spell left behind by the great Star Swirl the Bearded in order to ensure their victory.

Now all four have become an entirely new being, with her own thoughts and feelings. And in order for the Princesses to return, she will have to die.

Spoilers for MLP Movie ahead, you've been warned.

After a long and perilous journey, as well as an intense final confrontation, Twilight has managed to secure the staff... and finds herself trapped in a raging storm.

Yet to everyone else on the ground below, she was only gone for less than a minute before returning perfectly unscathed and even happy. Did she simply use the staff to calm the storm?

Or... did something else happen as well?

Just a simple one-shot to illustrate my take on the movie's theme and moral. No relation or connection to any of my other stories.

The past and the future sat in a room. The future stared in awe at the past, the fear of expectation and heritage beginning to gnaw at her. The past only smiled, as the future looked bright.
