Now in their early 20s, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy have been dating since high school. In that time, Fluttershy has gone on to gain a job at the local Canterlot Pet Store. Of course, we all have bad days, and today is one of them.

So when Rainbow Dash discovers a small cat-eared headband and costume tail in their room, Fluttershy decides it's time to reveal a small secret she's been keeping for some time. After all, when someone like her puts this much effort into caring for pets of all kinds, why can't she be the pet for once?

This is a story about a non-sexual fetish, and as such, will discuss and make references to sex, but no sexual acts will be portrayed.

This is a retelling and extended version of the Canterlot Wedding with a couple new original characters who will take the story down a different and darker path.

The lives of Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor, Spike, and the Mane Five have gone downhill. They all reflect on the events that led to their situation. The changelings were beaten but the wedding was cancelled. Prince Jewelius, another nephew of Celestia and younger cousin of Cadance, holds all of them responsible for the disaster. He then has the three princesses removed from power and all ten of them exiled from Equestria while he takes the throne for himself. With the fate of Twilight Sparkle unknown, the group of outcasts decide to return to Equestria to find their beloved unicorn friend and earn back their lives. But Jewelius is determined to get rid of them no matter the cost.

There were many ideas I had when writing Sunset Shimmer Discovers her feet, since there’s a lot from The Little Mermaid half I didn’t include, as well as a lot of in-between moments I didn’t include with the EQG half of the story. This is simply me having fun and de-stressing as I decide to do between my other projects and finding a voice cast for the Sunset’s Feet audio production.
 This is all loose ‘cannon’ from the main story that didn’t fit into the narrative of SSDF that may work!...) so just as often as someone of these might fill in plot holes, they may as often create more. Regardless, enjoy;
