One year has passed since the defeat of the Terrible Trio. All of Equestria thought that they had finally achieved peace, prosperity, harmony, justice and unity. Or so they thought....

An ancient evil has came back (the real one this time) after many years, and he seeks the ultimate vengeance. As he recruits the most vilest of the vile, the most vicious of all vicious and the most violent that even beasts cower in fear, is Equestria ready to take it on one final time?

Twilight Sparkle has fallen to a great darkness. Now, the remaining Guardians of Friendship must face their former leader in an all-out war. Can Twilight Sparkle be saved, or is she beyond the reach of her friends forever?

Starlight Glimmer ran a small village of ponies she convinced to give up their destinies. She also tried to rip apart the most important friendship in all Equestria. But here she was, her first night in a castle with the same princess who convinced her to abandon her revenge in return for friendship. Now that things were settling, she can't seem to believe that she's being pardoned for her actions. Luckily, Twilight is there to help her resolve these thoughts.

Princess Celestia has trained her three apprentices, Sunset, Trixie and Twilight, to become the newest generation of the Knights of the Realm, protectors of Equestria. Their abilities and morals are unquestionable, and they're also perfectly willing to become the heroes Equestria needs. However, something had to give, and in the process of turning them into the future Legendary Heroes, those three ended up becoming particularly eccentric in their methods and quirks. This is the start of a very silly era of heroes.

Hearth's Warming comes and it is a time of celebration for many. Though Twilight and her friends have faced a great deal of losses over the years thanks to both the passing of time and the war with Grogar, they still have each other and members of their family as well as the next generation of heroes. They all get together at her old castle for Hearth's Warming and celebrate, with a little chaos to spice things up whether they like it or not.

Also couldn't fit comedy in the genre as there is a little bit of a funny scene at the end or at least that was I tried to write.

After the defeat of Slash, the Legion of Doom have officially disbanded. Tirek and Chrysalis, on the other hand, seek to clear their minds and spend time together on a little vacation outside of Equestria. Desirous to up-one the other, they play multiple activities together during their little trip. The more they continually outmatch each other, the more they learn about each other in several ways.

Follow the Endings for the Legion of Doom that you prefer. Different fates await Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow after they have been defeated and surrounded again after being released from stone by the real Grogar. Part of the Successor Verse.

Both light and dark versions will be featured here following the ending that occurred as there two options one can follow. Reading those stories is optional but not required. I'd recommend New Days as it tells the whole story in one.

In Light: All three are redeemed and are sent to Tartarus to serve a prison sentence for a time but will be released and given a second chance after seeing the error of their ways.

In Dark: Chrysalis refuses to give into the final shot at redemption and attacks Starlight in a final act of revenge. Starlight and her family and friends fight back and kill Chyrsalis, Tirek tries to avenge his comrade in rage but is snapped by Discord into the sky where he falls to his death. That leaves Cozy Glow who is captured and sent to Tartarus for life. But will she spend her life there? Or escape and seek revenge?

Harmony is dead.

After a long, desperate war, the vile ponies have finally conquered the last shreds of resistance anycreature had to offer. But as their crushed enemies are taken to their homeland in chains and cages, hope, the antithesis to ponykind, remains in the form of three individuals.

Together, they Hope to take back their lands. They Hope to rebel against the wicked ponies. They Hope to free the world, and return Harmony to it...somehow. These days, Hope is all they have left.

But at least they have each other, and with friendship, anything is possible.
