For hundreds of years, ponykind had wondered if we were alone. The search for other planets besides our own was long and arduous, but our search eventually turned up results in the form of a mirror which transported the user to an alternate Equestria populated by a species known as 'humans.'

Intrigued by this, scientists in Equestria began exploring the possibility that there were other universes out there; instead of an alternate version of our own. Many decades passed, but nothing new was discovered.

Until, one day, we were contacted.

"Thanks, Mom." Two simple words said by a simple guard.

Not so simple when those words are accidentally addressed to Princess Celestia.

Humans.

Truth or myth? Ancient lost civilization or just an old pony's tale?

No pony has ever seen one, and most haven't even heard of them. But Lyra knows that these wonderful creatures are more than just old legends, and she's going to find out... and possibly drive her roommate insane in the process.

In life, we can only truly trust what our senses tell us, but what if our senses are wrong? When does the real world end, and fantasy begin? And when do they bleed into the other?

Just before what was supposed to be her wedding, Princess Cadence is kidnapped, trapped and replaced. She spends what feels to her like eternity in these caves, unable to escape with no hope of being rescued.
Will her day ever be as perfect as she imagined?

This is essentially "A Canterlot Wedding" told from Princess Cadence's (the real one) perspective.

Celestia comes to visit Twilight and Starlight after Hearth's Warming Eve festivities die down for the night.
