While still adjusting to life at the Crystal Brighthouse with her new friends, Misty accidentally makes a very interesting discovery in an old broom closet. It's Senor Butterscotch, a fake unicorn that Izzy made long ago.

Naturally, Misty's curiosity gets the better of her, especially since she has her own fake friend. She decides to ask her fellow unicorn why she made Senor Butterscotch.

Izzy is more than happy to tell the tale of how Senor Butterscotch came to be. But it's a lot sadder than Misty might be expecting.

The Seventh Company of the solar guard should have left the town Grimbush to its own devices, but when a letter asking them to clear out a pest invasion lands in their possession, they have no choice but to oblige.

Disgruntled and annoyed, the soldiers march into the mire only to find something far deadlier than they expected.

Most Earth ponies know how to cook familiar foods, but what to do when they face the baffling array of frozen foods in a grocery store on Earth?

Candy Apples has that problem and reasons that other ponies would, as well. So why not start a cooking channel to help ponies and anybody else who wants to watch?

Her channel is more of a success than she could have ever imagined.

Why isn't there a tag for Candy Apples? She's the background mare you should be thinking about.

Sunset's friends ask her for help with a lot of things. Pretending to be Rarity's boyfriend at her cousin's wedding is a new one. It can't be that hard, right? A sharp suit, some expertly applied makeup, and a good backstory and she'll be charming the pants off of the bridesmaids in no time.

But just what is Rarity hoping to get out of this subterfuge in the first place?

Late one night, several months after the events of the Fall Formal, Sunset calls Rarity at a frankly unreasonable hour. Things go from there.

There are some things, however, some ponies, that she will always have time for, such as that little red-headed filly gazing through her window of her boutique.
