Late one night, several months after the events of the Fall Formal, Sunset calls Rarity at a frankly unreasonable hour. Things go from there.
(This was originally a standalone one-off thing. The list of sequels is starting to get lengthy, so I decided to compile them all together as one thing for neatness's sake. At this point it's become a proper-ish story.)

I liked this fic a lot
I've found that Sunset is one of those characters. The ones with personalities where you can ship them with literally anybody else in their canon and it somehow not seem out of place.
Like Marco Diaz.
It's why I love reading shipping stories about her so much.

The dialogue in this is perfect! I love Sunset’s dry humor, and Rarity playfulness (and surprising horniness) plays off amazingly with it!

That... that was so adorable. And oddly identifiable. I couldn't really say if it's a ship fic? But it definitely feels like something I could see someone doing with a platonic friend or a romantic friend. But I'm a flirty person even with my platonic friends, so I may be a bad judge. I had to pause at:
Sunset saw her opening, and went for it. “You sound weirdly intent on having phone sex with a horse.”
I almost died. I never thought I'd read that line and yet I feel now my life would have been lesser without it. XD

It's sweet that Rarity feels safe enough around Sunset to be vulnerable and honest with her feelings. I just hope that Sunny opens up a bit herself at some point, not just deflecting with humour. That way they can both lean on eachother and figure things out together.

Seems like Rarity over reacted quite a bit here. The group was told as a whole to look out for Sunset and that's what AJ tried to do. Seems like Rarity is trying to keep Sunset to herself. Kind of creepy if you ask me.

Bear in mind Sunset's been avoiding the Rainbooms with the recent exception of Rarity. She was about ready to run out of the diner at the thought of being around all five of them at once

It's more like Applejack made a well intentioned blunder here. Rarity knows Sunset would barely open up to any of them and by some miracle had started opening up to her. With how empathetic Rarity is she would absolutely know based on how Sunset's talked about the other girls that she doesn't hate them but is distrustful and reclusive, along with being easily scared off. Applejack really did mean well but she didn't consider how overwhelming it would be for Sunset to suddenly be faced with every member of the group. Rarity also brings up a lot of points here that are similar to her reasons for leaving the other girls before the Equestria Girls movie. They may have made up but old wounds don't completely heal over that easily
Sunset's right its really good feeling pretty because your nude selfie flustered another girl. Very much a "warm to your core" feeling
