Rainbow Dash was trying to help Twilight control her flying abilities, but after a long session of trying, they decided to stop for the day. The sun was setting, and the scene was romantic, and the two friends sat together, discussing Twilight's new title of 'Princess'. Twilight had felt feelings towards Rainbow Dash for a while, but contained them, keeping her true emotions hidden from the world, but the setting, and the peaceful atmosphere, did nothing but help to push Twilight to confess, and so she does...

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have been hanging out a lot lately. But that's just because they're such good friends, right?

Rainbow catches the feather flu, and tries to cover it up. She runs into a certain alicorn on her way down to the ground.

With the exception of chapter three, you do need to have read Rites of Ascension to understand what's going on here. If you skip that part, you'll be severely lost.

This is a NON-CANON Rites EU "story." (The characters break the fourth wall completely, so of course it has to be non-canon.) Art by my lovely and amazingly talented wife, Violet Squiggles! You do have to have read Rites of Ascension to really understand this one. You're going to be seriously lost if you start here. That being said, you do not need to read this story to understand what's going on in Rites. This is to add to something already whole (and maybe get a few laughs), not make up for shortcomings elsewhere. Also, I thought it would be fun.

Also, as this is non-canon to Rites, I can go back and change things if I like. Generally, this will only happen if something hasn't been explained in the canon stories yet and has to change for them. Hopefully I won't ever actually have go do that, but if I do, I'll point it out in the chapter.

The Festival of First Flight is a pegasus-specific holiday, one Rainbow Dash has decided Twilight needs to partake in now that she's an alicorn, and thus part pegasus. Could it be that Rainbow has alternative reasons to bringing Twilight to the festival? And, more importantly, will Twilight discover what these reasons are?

It began after the coronation. These random things. Rainbow Dash suddenly feels that she can't live up to her own standards, and that she is a complete failure. Twilight Sparkle can no longer control her temper.

These random, seemingly insignificant things.

But when the two clash in a tragic event, both ponies realize that it is not at all normal, and cannot remain that way.

For the sake of all good things... they must fix whatever it is that has changed them.

(Based off of "Star Trek TNG" series finale, "All Good Things...")

Rainbow Dash has a secret. One day, a severe rainstorm hit Ponyville. Rainbow Dash managed to get rid of all the rainclouds. But because of that, it looks like everyone will know about her secret! Will she be able to calm down? Or will she be hiding? Find out in this story.

The Princesses are obscure myths. The land is ruled by nobles who only care for themselves. Smog from factories choke cities, and the open skies are full of danger. This is Equestria, and it has been this way for over 1000 years, and it seems that that's not going to change anytime soon. But things might be changing... but not for the better, as one unicorn discovered. Twilight Sparkle has found hints of a forgotten threat that has it's eye on taking over Equestria for itself, and there's and age-old conspiracy that is determined to let it just do that by hiding it's only weakness.

Now after tracking down and stealing one of the pieces of these 'Elements', Twilight is forced on the run. With time running short before the threat comes to conquer Equestria, she must quickly find the other pieces of the Elements of Harmony. But even with help, can Twilight find them in time? And even if she does, can she make them work in a land were friendship is hard to come by? Or will the threat succeed in destroying Equestria?

Every day out her window, Twilight sees an athletic, attractive weatherpony. She wishes she could be her, but that is not where Twilight's passions lie. Short of that, Twilight wishes she could be with her, be something more to her - but what chance does an academic, indoors type like her have? Sure, she might be an alicorn with all that entails, but she's just a normal pony inside.

Until Rainbow Dash lets a certain signal slip by accident...

This was originally a one-chapter standalone, but based on feedback (and FiMFiction's policy against posting separate chapters as separate stories), I expanded it.
