After her plans were ruined her hive now in destruction all shes has left are two young changeling. When she is saved by one of the ponies responsible for destroying her plans the great Changeling queen is forced to make certain choices. Will the choices she make now be for the better of her last remaining children or will she lose them for good?

Princess Luna adopts Scootaloo. Set after "Sleepless in Ponyville." and about a month after "Magical Mystery Cure" which means she gets a mother in Princess Luna, an aunt in Princess Celestia, and a babysitter in Princess Twilight. Plus Scootaloo is chosen as the future Princess of the Night.

Our tale begins after Twilight Sparkle tries in vain to expose the evil Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, but ends up heartbroken and left all alone, crying on the steps of the great hall. Except this time, it is not Cadenza that comes to comfort her...
