Being lonely for the holidays is a horrible thing and Pinkie Pie and Rarity both find themselves facing that prospect after a series of bad dates. So Pinkie proposes a practice date between friends just so they can have some feedback and not spend the time alone.

But as the date goes on, Pinkie Pie slowly realizes that her proposal isn’t purely because she wants a practice date.

Shining Armor always wanted Flurry to become a strong and great royal guard just like him. She always had powerful magic since her birth, and that's why it came as a surprise when she instead chose painting as her career. He was reluctant, but Cadance managed to convince him.

Flurry had spent her whole life going against her parents wishes, she didn't want to be like them. She wanted to be herself. And at least in this school, she could express herself however she wanted.

But of course, things can't be that easy, can they?

I know it's mostly a shitposting contest, but I wanted to write Shining. And I think this turned out well, although if I had a higher word limit, I would've written more and fleshed it out just a tiny bit more. Still, I hope you'll read this and enjoy it.

Just a few days ago, the CMCs asked for the mane 6's help. They have tried to get cutie marks in most things, but not one specific thing. As homicide detectives. Politely, they asked if Twilight was willing to help them find out if they're fit for the job. She agrees.

Fluttershy was enjoying her early morning. Was, in the past. Now, she's DEAD! and it's up to the Cutie Mark Crusaders Homicide detectives to find the true culprit. They must see through the muddied waters of lies in order to reach the truth.
