Pinkie Pie's family visit Ponyville and go to one of her famous parties, but they break some bad news that Pinkie will need the help and support of her friends to get through.

After the defeat of Queen Chrysalis, the changelings left behind don't know what to do. They eventually decide to seek the one who defeated their queen and make her theirs. What really goes on in a changeling's head? Can Cadence handle the vile creatures without prejudice? What do the crystal ponies think?

Especially after how much trouble they've caused each other. And what is so special about Derpy that makes her the right mailmare for the job?

Twilight is working on her greatest spell yet, maybe even the best spell known to all of ponykind, when Pinkie interrupts. Pinkie and Gummy get in the way of the spell, causing Gummy to turn into a pony. This causes problems for everyone involved. Most affected by this, of course, is Pinkie's very own Gummy Pie.

Everypony has known Derpy Hooves to be a Ponyville staple for as far back as they can remember. Their mail has always gotten delivered on time, at least as long as everypony can remember.
