Kayl Jayden is a man, who when faced with an event in his childhood discover that there is no real value in friendship. His beliefs lead him to living an empty life where those who call him friend are merely pawns and associates. One night however, Kayl is exposed and finds himself lost in his house and alone. After discovering a strangely familiar object, Kayl undergoes a painful transformation which changes him into a pony, and transports him to Equestria where he meets Twilight Sparkle and the elements of harmony. In his quest to return home, he must also learn many of the lessons of friendships that you and I have already learned. And maybe even learn a lesson that we all could learn as well as take to heart. How will he adjust to this new world, and when he is ready to leave, how will he make things right at home. Join the journey with the author as we all find out together.

Pinkie Pie's clone played a game of hide-and-seek with Apple Bloom. The clone does her best to win, and hides and overhears Twilight send the rest of the clones to the Mirror Pool, from inside a barrel outside the Golden Oak Library.

Seeing that Twilight was trying to send her to the Mirror Pool, the ponies in Ponyville don’t want her around, and that she wasn’t having much fun, the clone chose a new name, went to Manehattan, kept hidden, got a job, and did whatever she could to make sure that nothing and nopony could stop her from having fun.

Contains Death tag for references to sending other Mirror Pool clones back to the Mirror Pool.

Lyra is one of the more prouder and outspoken Wondercolts, often unafraid to show where she stands. She shares similar sentiments with her classmates that the Shadowbolts are arrogant and jerks. Even Trixie agrees with that sentiment and shares a hatred for their rivals. She probably hates her former friends that attend CPA more though, internally hoping she doesn't see them during the Games.

Sunset just doesn't like people who remind her of who she used to be and Crystal Prep is full of people like that, from Suri to Neon Lights.

Have you ever woken up to an eldritch horror telling you that your entire world is literally gone and that you're its new employee and that you have to do work for it in a new world? No?

This story will make an alternative universe, but will start grounded in the world we know. Have you read my other works? I love canon. I will respect canon, but we are also changing a core fact, and its effects will ripple outward. Our beloved ponies will be changed, as they must. The stream of fate carries them on tides we never witnessed before.

Twilight, Applejack, I hope you're both ready. Come, the water's fine, and I invite you to swim with me. Let us see what would happen if Applejack's mother survived where fate had once demanded her end.
