But after returning from an adventure and making friends with earth ponies and a unicorn, the two royals have an important question to answer: are they sisters, or are they family?

It's been a long time since the Rainbooms have all had a chance to see each other. Since graduation from Canterlot High their lives have kept them very busy.

Now, however, an opportunity for a reunion is about to present itself. Sunset Shimmer is coming back to the human world after a visit to Equestria as part of her job. And that means she can attend the planned reunion for her Canterlot High class.

But just what have all the Rainbooms been up to since graduation? What kind of jobs do they have, what sort of lifestyle have they led and what new developments do they have to share? Sunset is about to find out.

Hazy and Star Sparkle, daughters of Princess Twilight Sparkle, wake up to find themselves in the ruins of the palace of the royal pony sisters. Scared and confused, they explore the ruins in search of answers to what happened or where they are. Only to come to the realisation, the question isn't where, but when.

Realising that they're in the past, before their own births and without the ability to call upon their mother to save them. These two will have to face every threat and danger their mother told them about in hushed tones at night. However their actions will change the course of the future and force the pair to forge their own destinies.

Armed with their mother's stories and new friends, will the two sister's find that friendship is truly magic?

After one total rewrite, Daughters of Dusk finally sees the light of day! This is an Alt Universe/Alt History fic, inspired by me and a friend questioning "what if the Alicorn versions of our OCs wound up in the show during season 1?"

So, in an attempt to answer this question I've started to write this! Tackling the story one season at a time, with an entirely different cast of element of harmony bearers.

Expect some surprises for who will be the element bearers, a lot of changes from canon, and hopefully a good story along the way!

Unfortunately, she's picked up a traveling companion that was not a part of the plan. Now, heading out into the jungles of the Equestrian frontier, Celestia and Marble Venture find themselves forced to survive while darker forces work in the shadows.

Meanwhile, Luna attempts to be social.

Celestia now begins to wonder about her own life and if she is still needed to be there for the younger generation and if they still need her to guide them.

A once promising night for Luna turns cold when scattered thunder storms appear. Before she turns in, she uncovers another surprise: The Cutie Mark Crusaders, wandering alone. To her surprise, the three fillies are on a quest: To uncover a lost treasure that holds the key to obtaining their cutie marks. And so Princess Luna finds herself joining the three to ensure their quest goes smoothly. But not 'all' is at it seems.
