A not-so-normal HiE story. Rather than just making the same old I-Just-Appeared-In-Equestria-and-Everpony-Accepts-Me-And-The-Mane-Six-Want-To-Date-Me, I wanted to write something out of left field. So, here it is, the real story of how ponies react when a human reveals itself.

Scar the gnoll and the newly-formed pony squad arrive in the Griffon Kingdoms, eager to hunt the hated Izelim from their hiding places but unaware of what sinister plans lie hidden in the dark.

While the ponies and griffons focus on the present and what the future may bring, the gnoll finds himself faced with his own past as their journey takes them closer and closer to his old, forgotten home.

This is the second part of The Reader. Reading the first part is not necessary, but is highly recommended.

At the reading of his mother's last will and testament, Joseph Taylor is left a strange package. His only instruction being to protect the contents inside. Said items turn out to be nothing more than an old, empty journal, and an odd looking pen. What could be so important about such simple objects? But, Joseph will soon be given a rude reminder of the old saying, "Looks, can be deceiving..."

The last soldier died fighting, a fitting tribute to the planet humanity fought so hard to protect. Still, the story is not over for mankind, just as the story is not over for this lone soldier. This, is the story of Noble Six.

I wasn't supposed to be where I was now. Or at least that's what the light in my dream said to me. I was supposed to be a "creator of worlds" it said. I was to create fate or something like that, and manage the lives of millions. But what can I do in a world that doesn't need saving? What can I build with the tool gun to change my fate? But more importantly, why was I chosen to wield such power over said gun?

At the end of the world, a master swordsman and all around malicious man known as Albus Jakal meets a brutal end in the jaws of a mighty dragon. As the cold grips of death consumed him, he was suddenly thrown into a new world unlike anything he'd ever seen.

With a new body and only the memory of his name and a few blurry images of what he assumed was his life before this place, he becomes determined to find out who he was and why he of all people was given a second chance in such a peaceful land. Can six mares with unbreakable bonds show the worst of us the magic of friendship?

Note: This is a crossover between MLP and my own novel that is currently in the works so a few things may be a bit confusing at the beginning but I promise everything will be explained as Albus regains his memories :). Also this is my first time writing a fanfic and I have no proof reader so try to be nice when spotting my mistakes.

Armour stained with the blood of his lost charges, Alan is exiled from his home, and is given a choice by his god, Raasinav himself. Leave his known world forever, or shame the memory of his family.

Alan chose to wander, leaving behind all he has ever known. What will he find beyond the edge of the forest he has been confined to all of these years?
