Because she never took a mandatory test in flight school, her job as a weather pony and her dreams to be in the Wonderbolts are in jeopardy. Not confident in her study skills, she buys an expensive potion from a mysterious magic salespony. He told her it would "give her more brains" and "potentially" make her smarter. What he didn't say was that it would turn her into a multi-headed monster.

While her friends try and track down the peddler that conned her, Rainbow must find a way to deal with her new "companions" and try to prevent any more from spawning. Will she be able to turn back, or will she adjust to life as a Hydra? Either way, she still needs to pass that exam if she wants to keep her job.
All the while a single questions lingers in her mind - they let monsters join the Wonderbolts, right?

Rated T for Transformation. Also teen for some non-minor decapitations that don't result in death. Think of that running joke in Men In Black where the guy's head explodes and grows back.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, humans were suddenly all over the freakin' place.

Legends said nothing but horrible things about them, and that the only way to deal with a human was to make them no longer be a human. First contact showed otherwise, and cooler heads prevailed. The newly-organized Transmogrification department was gutted, with most of the agents sent to work elsewhere. Many government employees were organized to help the humans settle in; the best and brightest got to work at the extremely challenging job of calculating multiversal exchange rates so that human cash could be traded in for bits.

This is Cassandra, my OC don't steal. Her interests include having a dark past, saving Twilight when the elements of harmony fail, and being Celestia's long-lost sister. When Equestria needs a protector, only the brave and beautiful Cassandra will rise to the challenge, as she struggles with the delicate balance between keeping the world safe and dealing with other ponies being jealous of her. Though I can't tag this as both Slice of Life and Adventure, the stories incorporate both elements.
