Nightmare Moon, Discord's brief return, the Changeling attack, and the battle for the fate of the Crystal Empire are all behind our heroes now; the future looks brighter than ever for Equestria... until shadows of the distant past make themselves known. An entire nation the Royal Sisters had only thought a vague possibility, an empire of golems hailing Celestia herself as their mother. Is this an opportunity for the Princess of the Sun to regain something she lost millennia ago, or is there a darker side to this?

So I decided I'd try doing a sort of chapter artwork and thought "eh, I'll only do it for important chapters". Then I discovered that putting vectors inside other vectors is really easy, so every chapter's getting artwork now, probably forever.

First of all, thanks! As for inspiration, the whole thing is a reimagining of ideas I had for an older ponyfic, with a lot of my drive to actually make it coming from reading Pony POV. In terms of the actual plot, though, it's pretty much all me.

It'll make more sense next chapter, trust me... speaking of which, since I'm so far ahead in my buffer (as in, I'm working on chapter 9 right now) I maaaaay end up posting Chapter 6 tomorrow or even tonight to get the plot moving along a wee bit faster for all you guys and gals who do me the honor of reading my stuff.

Well, I like the fact that you had the infodump given in dialogue, and the dialogue seemed somewhat plausible. The golem idea is good.
It's a bit rough around the edges, and I would definitely look at cleaning up some of the formatting. I'll fave it and see where you take it.
