Special thanks to MisterNick, who had little hand in writing this particular one, but writing any story in this universe and not crediting him is like creating a Donald Duck cartoon and not crediting Carl Barks. He's had such a big hand in creating this universe, and since nearly all of the original stories credit him as a co-writer, it would be rude to not acknowledge him.

Slightly bigger thanks to Casketbase77, who helped a great deal more with this one, both idea and grammar wise.

And of course, the biggest thanks to Opium4TmassS for creating the universe I write this in in the first place. Without his grace and prereading, this story would not exist. I have no idea how you hooked me onto this idea, but I must thank you; I greatly enjoyed reading this, and would recommend many of his own stories set in this universe to a curious reader, if they can deal with the grammatical and storytelling flaws inherent in earlier entries.

Celestia and Luna have just announced their intention to retire and pass the throne to Twilight.

Before everyone can start assuring Twilight she'll do great as ruler of Equestria, Twilight refuses and explains why it wouldn't make sense for her to take the throne. From there, the conversation swerves.

This is a story for those who think Celestia and Luna retiring is a bad idea, and that Twilight found her true calling as a teacher rather than a ruler.
